CarPlay + iOS 18: Recent tab won't load after updating to iOS 18

Has anyone been experiencing any problems with Pandora while using Apple CarPlay after updating your iPhone to iOS 18?

I have no doubt in your capabilities to FIX Pandoras issues with CarPlay... Try to get Pandora to FIX it is another story.  They probably out-source their IT/Engineering to another company/country and takes time for them FIX it.

When is this issue going to be resolved? I am already tired of paying for a subscription that does not work properly!!!

When enough people cancel their subscriptions or put their subscriptions on hold is when they will take action. That or when the advertisers that pay to advertise to the free subscription, based Pandora customers realize that the audience has been cut in half…

One would think that if the moderator was doing their job that A. Would give engineering/management feedback from this forum because we believe them to be in a vacuum and B. Give the users of this forum feedback from engineering/management because we are in a vacuum!

iOS 18.1 was released today 10/28, anybody try it yet?

Deleted Pandora app and reloaded after 18.1 iOS update. No change. Same
issues others experienced.

I am having this issue across 3 iPhones and 3 different CarPlay devices (all wired, no wireless CarPlay).

Having same issue after upgrading to iOS 18

I updated to iOS 18.1 yesterday and getting in my car, I noticed that the music actually started playing without me having to interact directly with Pandora and the two times I went to Pandora, the recently played was actually populated.  I'll hold my breath before saying it's fixed but worth a shot for everyone in here who has been impacted.

Not so for me. I also updated to 18.1 and tried in my car. I did notice pandora starting to play, but recents wouldn’t load and after selecting my collection, it loaded but would not display the playlist selected. One time it did, but I couldn’t get it to repeat again after exiting the car. I did notice that in my cars information display (on the driver’s info page that’s separate from the main display screen) would display the current song being played.

Yes after updating to IOS 18.1 it still wont load and same with Amazon Music. I took steps suggested and it still wont load

I finally got it working like it was ( still not loading) by using my charging cable. I was using Luckymore dongle. It stopped completely

Went into settings, CarPlay, selected vehicle, then customize. Tried moving to the Pandora app up on the list to the top hoping that it might make a difference- nada, bupkis. Then did a forget this car and reloaded/paired with the car - SOS. Worth a try 😞
