Has anyone been experiencing any problems with Pandora while using Apple CarPlay after updating your iPhone to iOS 18?

IMO, the revision last month restored Pandora to a reasonably usable product although there are still a number of relatively minor and somewhat annoying issues that really do need to be addressed. I think the Pandora users with a paid subscription certainly can be expected to have high expectations with Sirius/XM restoring Pandora to the polished well-functioning product it once was. I am not a paid user although I do absolutely consider being exposed to the absolutely inane annoying ads (and some minor loss of features) payment enough. However, I am glad to have it functioning at the level it now is, as it is now certainly reasonably usable and serves my needs.

I had been using Pandora with CarPlay on my Malibu Chevrolet 2019, but ever since after the iOS18 update, it has been giving me issues! I tried ways to fix it, but it doesn't get any better. Read some guides that say uninstalling updating might work - Have to try it on. I also read a post that said to update to the iOS 18.2 Beta version, I am sure I am going to try it, if anyone tried it here, please do let me know.

Been there, done that, nada. In desperation I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the newest Pandora app and have upgraded to 18.2 iOS, results are not changed. Still the same. It is a Pandora issue.

Still unable to play Pandora through Apple Car Play. Stations won't load in ios17 or ios18. Updated to latest version of Pandora, still won't play. This has been going on for 3 months now! So frustrating! Fix this or I'm moving to Spotify!

I have to agree with Spooge032. The revision circa last December eliminated the major problems, and it even seems now some or all of the remaining not critical annoyances have been resolved (maybe via an 18.X rev). If your still having problems, then it is very likely it is on your end such as the cable mentioned above or something else. You said, "Stations won't load in ios17 or ios18.", do you indeed have internet access on your phone? Is the car connecting to Pandora at all? If not, delete the Bluetooth connection and let it reconnect as I found this to be very helpful when connection problems occur. Is your Pandora account active and are you logged in? I am sure if your Pandora account is not active and/or you're not logged in, of course Pandora will send nothing to you. Don't know what else to suggest but it seems like your problem is not likely a Pandora problem.
