Pandora Update (11/22/2024):
We appreciate everyone's patience, and understand that these issues around Apple CarPlay have been frustrating and disruptive to your listening experience in the vehicle. Our engineering teams have been working diligently to resolve this for all impacted listeners.
We're happy to announce that Pandora version 2411.1 for iOS should resolve the following issues with CarPlay:
- Listeners who experience trouble with stations loading in the Recent tab.
- Listeners who experience an error message "There was a problem loading this content".
- Listeners who experience loading issues with songs within a playlist.
- Listeners who experience the screen not automatically transitioning to the Now Playing screen.
We recommend manually updating to the latest version (2411.1) of Pandora by visiting the Apple App Store on your iOS device and using the below steps to update.
How to manually update apps on your iPhone:
- Open the App Store.
- Tap the My Account button or your photo at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.
In some cases you may need to refresh the page in order to see the update. After updating to Pandora version 2411.1, please try Pandora with CarPlay again and let us know if you're still having trouble.
Please use your mobile device in your vehicle only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

No, my post was a reply to @TannerPandora . Apparently he/she has marked this problem as resolved. See the first post. Not sure why though.

I’ve been having the same issue since the update. I’ve tried uninstalling -and reinstalling, logging out and back in. I’m about to create a new account, but I don’t know if that would even work 🤷🏼♀️

I have the same problem loading issue on my Honda CRV also. IOS 18 and latest Pandora version. If I use the phone I can get the music to play but screen doesn't update. Rebooted car radio and removed and reinstalled Pandora App several times.

This has been happening for me also. I deleted the app on my phone then reloaded it but the problem is still happening when I listen to pandora in my car.
I am having ALL the EXACT same issues. Deleted app, reinstalled it. Deleted phone from car, reinstalled it. Nothing has worked.

Hello. I am having multiple issues. I most often get the above error message. On rare occasions, the screen showing my collection of stations shows up but I cannot change stations. I have the most updated versions of both iOS 18 and Pandora.

I updated my iPhone recently and since then I get the message already reported. If I move to IHeart there is no issue. All other apps work fine in CarPlay. I can access pandora manually from my phone for CarPlay.
