Hi, I'm big fan of Pandora Radio app.
I had 2020 GMC Sierra with App available for that model year, but I recently updated to 2025 GMC sierra, and....
Newest Android based infotainment, Pandora app is unavailable, not listed in Playstore, not available to install any way.
OnStar is announced Pandora app is available for all GM Infotainment.
Any plans to adapt or release Pandora app for this latest models?
Thank you.
Hi @ROL
Welcome to the community, it’s always great to hear from fans of the Pandora app!
It sounds like your new GMC is using the Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS). Unfortunately, Pandora isn’t currently supported on this platform. That said, I’ve shared your feedback with the appropriate teams. While I don’t have a timeline to share, it’s always helpful to hear which features users would like to see.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by!
Same issue with the 2025 Chevy Tahoe. It would be so nice if you could just access Pandora as an app in the vehicle, but instead they want you to rely on CarPlay to do so. While that can be done, I often disconnect and don't use CarPlay when my littles are watching the rear seat media on the TVs. It is my understanding that this was available on previous models and for 2025 GM changed it. Please add me to the list of folks that would like it added back via a new update to the vehicle.
I will add a "me too". 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4. Tap on Google Assistant and say "Play some AC/DC" and it tells you no can do because Pandora app is needed. Went to the app store in the infotainment system, lots of apps but no Pandora. Not a great look for you guys...
Just traded our 2015 Yukon XL for a 2025 Suburban and are so disappointed there isn't a stand alone Pandora app now. Please work on this!! We don't want XM radio, we want Pandora!!
Add me to this request. Current GM EV owner with an AAOS system. There are currently apps for Spotify, YT Music, Amazon Music, etc but no Pandora. Would love to see Pandora added to AAOS.
