Pandora Update: 7/17/2025

Hi all!

Thanks for posting your experiences with your GM vehicles.

Pandora recently updated the SSL certificate on a range of devices in order to maintain the security of our application. This update may have disrupted the network connection to the integrated Pandora app in some GM vehicles.

We’ve reached out to GM, who developed and maintains the integrated Pandora app in their vehicles, so their team can investigate and address the issue on their end.

Unfortunately, we’re currently unable to provide a timeline for when a resolution may be available, but we appreciate your patience as we work with our partners at GM to investigate further.

Something happened to mine yesterday (7/14) too. The in-vehicle app has been working great for the past 5 years. It’s connected to my vehicle’s hot spot. Yesterday, it just completely stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and attempted to sign back in, but it says Network Currently Unavailable. My hotspot is connected at full strength.

Hi @tmrucker and @Tmw14

Welcome to community! Sorry to hear you're having trouble in your vehicles. Could you tell me more about your experience:

  • Are you connecting to Android Auto, Apple CarPlay or an integrated app?

  • If connecting with a mobile device:
    • What is the make and model:
    • OS version:
    • Pandora version:
  • If connecting to an integrated app:
    • What is the make, model and year of your vehicle:
    • What is the exact error message you're seeing:

Also, when possible, please include a picture of what you're seeing in your vehicle, that would be helpful. You can include a picture directly here on community. This is best done on a web or mobile browser. You won't be able to include pictures through the email notification.

Thanks for the additional help!

Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

Hi!
I am using the integrated app through my Chevy. I have a 2020 Chevy Suburban. I have used the integrated app with my car’s hotspot for 5 years now, and rarely had an issue. Yesterday, I got a message when I opened the pandora app that it was “looking for the network” (which was on a fully functional). I turned the WIFi off, then back on, nothing changed. I then uninstalled the pandora app and reinstalled it. When I attempt to log into my existing pandora account, it says “Network Currently Unavailable. please try again”. The WiFi in the car is on and working, so I’m not sure what the issue is. Thanks!

Thanks for the follow up and the extra details, @Tmw14! 🙌

While I don't have any troubleshooting steps that I believe would help to resolve this immediately the information you provided is super helpful! I've passed this along to our engineering team for further review and investigation.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Same issue, 2018 Tahoe.

Network currently unavailable, please try again later. Its been about 4 days. I've Uninstaller, reinstalled, tried update. Nothing is working.

Is there an error with the app? For vehicles currently?

Seems as if a lot of us are having the same issue around the same time period.

I have a 2020 buick envision and about 4 days ago my pandora app on the integrated infotainment system suddenly stopped working. I have done everything from Uninstaller the app a few times, doing a reset of my system and a soft reset of my car and nothing has worked. My wifi has full signal also. Please help!! I want my pandora app back
