A Word Of Encouragement For Your Day.

We all need to be encouraged from time to time, I will try my utmost to post a word of encouragement for each day for us to have with us throughout our day. I hope this will help not only myself but for you as well.

ca533c401acb5cba8e1645814b173379.jpg sometimes we all need to be reminded of what is more important in our lives. Today reflect on those who you love, and those who love you.

Have a great day and a great weekend. Take care dear friend and stay safe.

Good Tuesday Morning, dear friend.

There Is Always a New Corner to Turn:

Not every path will feel like home. Some melodies won’t move us, some moments won’t make sense. However, the beauty of the journey lies in this: there is always a new corner to turn. A new sound to discover. A new truth to uncover. A new grace waits just beyond the bend.

So if today feels off-key, don’t worry. Keep walking. Keep listening. The next corner might hold the harmony your heart’s been waiting for.

Have a blessed day, take care, and GOD bless.

Good Thursday morning, dear friend. Hang in there, the weekend is almost upon us.

"Work can feel like a drag sometimes. But here’s the truth: the atmosphere in your workplace isn’t just something you enter—it’s something you bring. Walk in with a bad attitude, and your day’s already set to spiral. But if you choose to walk in with a smile stretching ear to ear, shoulders back, head held high, and a pep in your step, you become the person who shifts the room.

Listen, friend: I learned this long ago—sometimes a good attitude must be chosen on purpose. Not because it's easy, but because it's worth it. So do yourself a favor. Choose joy. Choose light. Choose it on purpose. And watch how it transforms your day.

By the time you clock out, that energy will follow you home. Your loved ones deserve your best—and so do you. Let your attitude be a gift, not just to your coworkers, but to yourself and everyone you love. Have a great day. A wonderful day. A beautiful day. On purpose."

Have a blessed day, friend, take care, and GOD bless.

Good Wednesday morning, dear friend. I hope this reminds you of what is most important in life.

Some words whisper comfort. Others echo through the soul, reminding us of what we've forgotten but always knew: that love, presence, and connection are the true measures of a life well-lived. And a life well-lived is one that never forgets those who live in your heart, while listening for the echo that gently follows you through each day, whispering back, “I love you too.”

Have a blessed day, dear friend. Take care and GOD bless.

Hi @MOHLovesAlaska,

You are completely right! While you can't control what others do or say to you you can control how you react and what you take from them. It may be difficult sometimes but it is better to save your energy and use it to make things better.

And for the second,  post I just have to agree and say that I loved what you said.

Thanks for sharing!

Good Thursday morning, dear friend. As some of you may know, my favorite music artist is Jewel. Using the titles of her songs, I came up with this for today. I will also add a playlist of songs for today, with brief descriptions of each song and why it resonates with A Word Of Encouragement For Your Day.

Let Your Heart Be Known:

Let Your Heart Be Known. In moments when the world feels like a "Fragile Flame," remember that you are "Stronger Than You Think." Even when life feels like a series of "Foolish Games," where your heart is misunderstood or mishandled, reach out—because connection is never wasted, even when it hurts. "Hands" may offer no answers, but they still hold grace. "Intuition" will guide you when the path is unclear, and "Standing Still" is sometimes the bravest move. You are not alone in your journey. You are "Deep Water"—mysterious, powerful, and full of life beneath the surface. So breathe, believe, and "Serve the Ego" no more. Let your light be "Perfectly Clear."

🎶Playlist Companion: The Courage to Feel

  Song                                      Artist                                Why It Resonates
Foolish Games (LP Version) JewelThe emotional anchor—raw, poetic, and hauntingly honest.
Let It Hurt Rascal FlattsA gentle permission to feel pain as part of healing.
All I Want kodalineVulnerability wrapped in longing and quiet hope.
The Story Brandi CarlileA powerful anthem of being seen and known, scars and all.
Gravity Sara BareillesA soulful reflection on emotional entanglement and release.
Breathe Me SiaA cry for connection and understanding in moments of fragility.
She Used To Be Mine Sara BareillesA tender look at self-compassion and rediscovery.
He Knows My Name Francesca BattistelliFaith meets vulnerability in a song about surrender and growth.
You Say Lauren DaigleA reminder of identity and worth beyond the noise of doubt.
Hands JewelA return to grace, service, and quiet strength.

This is a new series I will be starting. I hope it resonates with all who read this thread. Have a great day, dear friend. Take care and GOD bless.

Good Saturday morning, dear friend.

“The Light You Carry”
Some mornings arrive quietly, asking nothing of you but breath. Others come with a weight—memories, questions, the ache of becoming. But whatever today brings, remember this: You carry light. Not because everything is perfect, but because you keep showing up anyway. You carry light in your honesty, your empathy, and your choice to keep trying. In the way you listen, in the way you love. The world might not always see it, but someone—somewhere will feel it. And that is enough. So walk gently through this day. Let grace accompany your steps. And trust: the light you carry matters.

Some days, we wonder if our light matters. If our presence makes a difference. Difference Maker reminds us that it’s not about being perfect—it’s about being willing. Willing to show up. Willing to be honest. Willing to let God use even our brokenness for something beautiful. As you listen, let the lyrics settle into the quiet places. You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. You are part of something sacred. Difference Maker (Live From the Woods) by NEEDTOBREATHE.

Outro: After You Listen
If the song stirred something in you, let it speak. Let it remind you that your worth isn’t measured by applause, but by grace. You are a difference maker—not because of what you do, but because of who you are in the hands of a loving God. Keep showing up. Keep shining. The light you carry is no small thing.

Have a blessed day. Take care and GOD bless.

Good Thursday afternoon, dear friend.

"Raise Your Voice, Even In The Storm."

When the world feels heavy and the winds threaten to drown out your hope, hoist your colors. Not in rebellion for rebellion’s sake—but as a declaration that your story matters, your voice belongs, and your presence is not invisible.

🗣Encouragement

“The king and his men stole the queen from her bed…” The opening line speaks of injustice. But the response? A rising chorus. A call to gather.

In your life, there may be moments when something precious feels like it's been stolen—peace, joy, clarity. But you are not alone. There is a crew of kindred souls, ready to sing with you, stand with you, and sail through the storm.

Raise your flag. Lift your voice even if it trembles, even if it’s just a whisper.

Because when voices unite, even the darkest tide begins to turn.

Scripture Pairing: Psalm 20:5“May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.”

This verse echoes the spirit of “Hoist the Colours.” It’s not just about defiance—it’s about declaring trust, unity, and hope in the face of adversity.

🎶Musical Companion

Pair this reflection with:

So if today feels like a tempest, don’t hide your flag. Hoist it. Let it be seen. Let it be sung. You are not forgotten, and your voice is part of the chorus that brings light to the deep.

When silence swells and shadows grow, Lift your voice where hope may flow. A single thread, a song begun— Can stir the stars and wake the sun. Though tides may rise and tempests roar, Your colours speak of something more: A soul unshaken, bold and true, That dares to sail when skies are blue. So raise your banner, let it fly— A whisper strong enough to cry: “I’m here. I’m held. I still believe.” And grace will echo through the deep. So let the Lighthouse guide you to calmer shores.

Have a blessed night. Take care and GOD bless.

Good Friday afternoon, dear friend, I posted this on the Relationships + Break-Ups post, but I'm going to post here as well because not all who read this post read the Relationships + Break-Ups post. Hopefully, this will be some encouragement for those who are hurting and on their road to healing.

When Love Leaves, Let Hope Stay

There comes a moment in love when silence speaks louder than words. Not the peaceful kind, but the kind that echoes through the chambers of a heart still holding on. You said goodbye—but your heart didn’t. You still check your phone. You still replay the laughter. You still wonder if they’ll come back.

But love, when it’s real, is not a solo act. It’s two hearts choosing each other—again and again. And when one heart vacates, the other must decide: Do I keep living in the memory, or do I begin to live for myself again?

It’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to miss them. It’s okay to wish things had turned out differently. But it’s not okay to lose yourself in the waiting. You are worth more than unanswered calls and unspoken closure.

So take this time. Not to chase. Not to beg. But to rebuild. To look in the mirror and say, “I am still here. I am still worthy. I am still becoming.”

Let the echo fade. Let the silence settle. And when you’re ready, let your heart beat for you again.

Some goodbyes are loud. They come with tears, with final words, with a door that closes gently behind you. But some goodbyes are quiet. No explanation. No apology. Just absence. And you’re left holding the pieces, trying to solve a puzzle with missing edges.

You replay the last conversation. You wonder what you missed. You ask yourself if you were too much or not enough. But the truth is, closure isn’t always given. Sometimes it’s something you have to create.

Closure isn’t about their explanation. It’s about your decision. To stop waiting for a why. To stop chasing a version of the past that won’t return. To start healing on your terms.

You may never get the answers. But you can still find peace. Not because they made it right, but because you chose to let go of needing them to.

So breathe. Write your ending. And walk forward, not because it’s easy, but because your heart deserves to be whole again.

For your heart to be whole again, you need to give yourself the proper time for healing— Time to find your ending to the last relationship before a new one can ever begin. A new beginning cannot carry the old baggage. The new means exactly that: NEW. So take your time to heal now, so you can truly enjoy the new event that much more.

Take care, dear friend, and GOD bless you and be with you through your pain and healing. And when the time is right, may GOD even bless you with a beautiful NEW beginning again.

Hi @MOHLovesAlaska !

Thanks for sharing this here too!

That's true, you cannot control what others do (or stop doing), and you can't control their feelings either. So closure is always up to you.

I think that we usually think about closure as something external that needs to come from the other one while the real way to move on is doing it yourself.

Thanks for sharing!

@MariaPandora, Good evening, my friend. You're right—lack of closure can feel like a wound that never quite heals. When someone walks away without explanation, it leaves you questioning not just the relationship, but sometimes even yourself. That ambiguity can be more painful than the breakup itself.

Thank you for your support and reply. Have a blessed evening, take care, and GOD bless.

Good Wednesday afternoon, dear friend.

“Unscripted and Unafraid”

“No spotlight needed, no script rehearsed—just a soul brave enough to be seen.”

Actors and actresses are paid to perform— to slip into roles, wear masks, rehearse lines. But you and I? We live unscripted. Our stage is every day. Our audience is those who truly know us. The question isn’t whether we’ll win applause— it’s whether we’ll be remembered for our honesty, our kindness, our courage to show up as ourselves. Dear friend, if you find yourself performing for approval, ask: Who am I trying to impress, and why? Because the people worth keeping close are the ones who love you without the costume. Your true colors aren’t flaws to hide. They’re the hues of your heart, the tones of your testimony. And they will shine— maybe not under spotlights, but in quiet moments, in gentle words, in the way you make someone feel seen. So today, step into your role— not as an actor, but as the real you. Unscripted. Unafraid. Unforgettable. (Psalm 139:14 "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:) The GOD who created who made "ALL" things says that about you, then my friend, you have much to be proud of, and you are greatly valued as well.

“True Colors & Honest Echoes”

Good Friday afternoon, dear friend. I hope you are doing well and are feeling upbeat.

I posted a song just a few minutes ago Stop The Clocks by Leona Lewis. I want to use that song and feed off the meaning of that song for today's A Word Of Encouragement For You Day.

Today, let the rush pause. Let the calendar hush. Let the hands of the clock fall silent for a moment of grace. Leona Lewis sings, “I wanna stop the clocks tonight / I wanna tear the hands right off” — not out of fear, but out of reverence. Some moments deserve to be held, not hurried. Some love is so deep, so healing, that time itself feels too shallow to contain it. So if you find yourself in a moment of peace, of laughter, of connection — stay. If your heart whispers, “Don’t move just yet,” listen. Presence is not passive. It’s powerful. Whether you’re with someone you love or simply sitting with your own soul, know this: You are allowed to stop the clocks. You are allowed to be here, and here is the moment you feel bliss, safe, loved, and not forgotten. And here is holy.

Have a blessed weekend, dear friend, take care, and GOD bless.

Good Thursday morning, dear friend.

A Word of Encouragement for Your Day: “The Courage to Speak”

Today, I grieve the loss of a brother—not by blood, but by belief. Charlie Kirk spoke boldly, lived faithfully, and invited even his fiercest critics to sit and reason together. He didn’t fear disagreement. He welcomed it, trusting that truth could withstand the fire.

Now he is gone. Not because he was wrong, but because someone could not bear the light he carried. But I will not let that light go out. I will speak. I will stand. I will love fiercely and defend truth with grace. Because the God Charlie and I worship is not shaken. And the faith we share is not silenced.

📖“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” —Matthew 5:10 (KJV)

Let your voice be a light. Let your words be a bridge. And let your heart be strong enough to hold both truth and tenderness. You are not alone. My prayers are with Charlie's wife and two young children.

Have a blessed day, friend. Take care and GOD bless.

Good Saturday morning, dear friend. Hopefully, this will be something that will not only be an encouragement for me, but for you as well.

The Gift of Stillness

There are days when the noise of life grows loud—when expectations, emotions, and unanswered questions swirl like wind through the soul. And then there are days like this… when the silence settles in.

Not as emptiness. Not as an absence. But as an invitation.

Stillness is not the void—it is the voice beneath the surface. It is the sacred hush where healing begins. It is the gentle reminder that you don’t have to earn rest. You are allowed to receive it.

Even the God of creation whispers, “Be still and know that I am God.” Do not do more. I didn't figure it out. Just be still. And know.

Today, let the silence speak. Let the stillness sing. Let your soul rest in the knowing that even when you feel empty, you are full of possibility.

Sometimes being still and quiet is the holiest step you can take. And in that quiet, you are not alone. You are held. (Still by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family. Enjoy the song.)

Have a blessed weekend. Take care and GOD bless.
