What kind of music slowly but surely earned a spot in your listening lineup? Maybe it took time, a playlist, or the right artist.
It was rap for me.
Mine would definitely be country. Didnโt think Iโd get into it, but here we are. ๐ค
90โs rock. I thought rock died somewhere in the 80โs but I was very wrong.
Hi! That genre would be K-pop. ๐ฐ๐ท
At first, I was indifferent to that genre, but after watching some Korean series and playing a dance game called Pump It Up, I started to like it. ๐บ๐ถ
Here are just a few of the many K-pop songs that I like:
Sherlock by SHINee
Mr. Simple by SUPER JUNIOR
Shanghai Romance by Orange Caramel
Attention by NewJeans
Ice Cream by BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez
Fantastic Baby by BIGBANG
Queencard by i-dle
Bad Girl Good Girl by Miss A
LALALALA by Stray Kids
Takedown by HUNTR/X, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI & KPop Demon Hunters Cast
APT. by ROSร & Bruno Mars
For me, it would be indie pop. While I do like pop, I wasn't too much into indie pop. I've been listening the Indie Pop Radio station and it's been really fun to listen.
Definitley rap...KB rubbed off on me lol
Idk why but like the 50's music is great n It grew on me
Definitely Rap.
I think it all started with K-Pop , which I didn't initially like that much, until I knew Stray Kids.
And from there I started liking Hip Hop and rap and it started to grow on me.
@Pandora, SingerโSongwriter has always been my favorite genre. Most of you know Jewel is my favorite artist, and one of the reasons is simple: she writes almost every song herself. Not many artists can say that. Her music comes straight from her own life, and you can feel it.
Another great example is my momโs favorite, Loretta Lynn. Coal Minerโs Daughter wasnโt just a hitโit was her story, written from the hardships of growing up in the coalโmining camps. And then thereโs George Jones, my dadโs favorite. He didnโt write He Stopped Loving Her Today, and he actually hated the song, even though it became one of his greatest. It hit too close to home, reminding him of someone he loved deeply but lost through alcohol abuse and other struggles.
Thatโs what I love about SingerโSongwriter music. It carries an emotional truthโreal lives, real pain, real heartbreak, real resilience. Itโs music that doesnโt just entertain; it tells the story of a life lived.
Take care, and GOD bless.
Punk. As a kid, I never really understood it. But here I am now, in love with jt
