Pandora was working fine, then for whatever reason when I hit "play" button nothing happens.  What's wrong?

Thanx

@Sissy1966 Sorry for any trouble.

Nothing happens when hitting play button:

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

  1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
    • A Mac or Windows computer?
    • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
  3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  4. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝

Premium Family plan:

To clarify, you are currently signed up for an individual Pandora Premium subscription through Apple at the $12.99 monthly rate, not Premium Family.

If you'd like to make the switch to a Premium Family plan instead, you can find instructions on how to do so here: Switch to Premium Family while on Apple sub

Hope this helps!

Using the app on Android and nothing is getting it to play individual songs or replays. I've tried clearing cache and memory, logging out and back in, as well as uninstall and reinstall. It just keeps giving me a stopped working error. I'm about to stop using this app and go to a other servicer. Nothing but annoyances anymore.

@Sara_meyer9 Can you please do me a favor and send me a screenshot of the error message you're seeing?

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)

Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝

I have this problem on my chromebook and I click play and the chromebook says "waiting for pandora.com". I can only listen to stations and not the song I want to.

Hi @Kuntry! Thanks for posting, sorry for any trouble.

Can you clarify, if you're on a web browser on your Chromebook, or using the desktop app. Can you do me a favor and share a screenshot of what you're seeing.

You can share your picture directly here on community. It's best to use a web or mobile browser when sharing. If you reply to the email notification (if this is enabled) you won't be able to share pictures.

Let me know if you run into trouble. Thanks!

I have the same problem with mine it doesn't let me play any songs but it only lets me play podcasts and radio and I restarted my computer and checked for cookies and everything and it still does the same thing.

Hi @pam8

Welcome to community!

When you say song, do you mean on-demand content like an individual song or album/playlist? If so, then as a free ad supported user, you'll want to make sure any ad blockers have been disabled through your device or browser.

When pressing play, you should receive a pop-up notification requesting that you listen or view an advertisement before proceeding with your on-demand playback.
