Cuts off a selection before it is finished

A couple of years ago I had to get rid of Sirius XM and switch to Pandora because of problems with streaming my playlists using Sirius. It would cut off selections before they were finished and start something new. Nobody at Sirius cared so i switched to Pandora and never had a problem. UNTIL-- Sirius bought Pandora. Now not only is the same problem back but now it often cuts off a selection before it is finished and then doesn't play anything at all for a while. So two questions:

 

1. Does anybody else have this problem and have they solved it?

  • What is the make and model of the device you're using?
  • Are you receiving any error messages?
  • What exactly does it say?

I am having this same issue.  It was after every 10 songs or so, but now it's after every song.  Any answers?  I'm ready to cancel my subscription.

Yes I have the same problem. I was thinking of subscribing but I don't want to pay if it cuts off the songs half way thru.

I'm having the same problem.  I just started my 30-day trial, and it's pretty annoying.

@tsh228 @lrm1130  Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

  1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
    • A Mac or Windows computer?
    • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
  3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  4. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing? (If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, just let me know and I'll be happy to provide you with some additional steps.)

Same issue, does it across all devices, streaming through my car, my phone, smart tv, garbage programming imo, canceling my free trial, definitely not paying for a service that fails to function properly

I’ve enabled a trace on your Pandora account to help us better understand what’s happening. For this trace to be useful, we’ll need you to run through our troubleshooting steps once more.

Troubleshooting:

  • For your iPhone device, I would recommend trying out these steps.
  • For your Samsung Smart TV, running through this troubleshooting path to see if it rectifies the issue you're experiencing. 
    • We also have an existing thread for a known issue on Samung TVs. Not sure if you're experiencing this but I'll share thread just in case: No Sound on Samsung TV

For the issue with Pandora in your car, could you share more information about how you're connected?

  • Are you connected via Bluetooth?
  • Or, AUX Cord?
