In anyone from Pandora still reviewing this thread? In the past few weeks I've started getting this same Spanish ad multiple times an hour across all my stations.
(edit #1) It played around 3:20pm EST and again just 20 minutes later at 3:42pm EST.
(edit #2) And again at 4:05pm EST.
(edit #3) 5:35pm EST.
(edit #4) 7:34pm EST.
(edit #5) 8:19pm EST.
(edit #6) 9:30pm EST.
(edit #7) 9:53pm EST.
(edit #8) 10:27pm EST.
(edit #9) 10:43pm EST.
etc.
I get almost exclusively Spanish language ads on Happy Radio. Always have. I can tell they're for Chick-fil-A. They'd be pissed to know that you're wasting their paid-for time playing these ads for people who will tune out or change platforms. You're annoying us and wasting their money.
@M19 I have created a ticket with our support team for you.
They will be contacting you privately via email to help look into this further, so please keep an eye out for their message.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
@RCG Our Ads team is currently looking into why Spanish ads are playing more frequently on Happy Radio.
In the meantime, I recommend tuning into a different station if you are looking to avoid those types of ads for now.
If any additional Spanish ads continue to play on your account after changing stations, please send over:
We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us about this!
Really??!! Just listen to something else?? That is the most dismissive response I can imagine. Pandora has no idea what customer service and retention is about.

There is literally no way to post a screenshot using the app on the iPhone.
I still say the solution is really simple…. Add a language preference in the user profile and use that to filter the ads by language.
I frequently listen to a channel created for Spanish guitar. I don’t speak Spanish. But hey it’s the style of music, so it must be my language preference. I’m not going to stop what I’m doing to take a bunch screenshots, so you can just take my word that it’s happening all the time.
I agree with another user that said the ad dollars are being wasted by sending me wrong language.
I don’t care enough to change the channel, take screenshots or threaten to cancel. I just think it is a miss for your advertisers and your listeners for what would be not that hard of an update to the user profile. Giving you another metric for user demographics, or have a prefer not to answer/ null response option. ….
just my thoughts
I'm having the same issues. I just had a Spanish ad as well.
Google platform, time 10:25 am on 10-14-25. This happened several times last week as well. The ad that played didn't actually show a proper Ad. This time the right column was blank where normally it shows what it's advertising.
The station I was listening to is highlighted in the Left column under stations.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Bill O'Connor
Due to all the Spanish ads, our family is no longer going to pay for no ads. Waste of money and so rude for Pandora to not listen to its customers. Bye Pandora. The easiest way to loose money is not respect its customers.
That’s asking a lot honestly. If someone wants ads in the language of another country they should have to jump through all these hoops to get ads in their language! I’m not even sure how to do all you ask to remove Spanish ads and I’ve read these posts many times. Frustrating. I’ve listened to Pandora for over 12 years! I don’t speak Spanish, don’t know what you’re trying to sell, so won’t be buying any of these products. The advertisers should be getting upset with you Pandora.
Well, sadly my screen had no picture during this Spanish ad and I cannot even tell you what it was for. Who knows? I don’t speak Spanish. It aired on my Happy Radio station at 9:43 AM Oct 20,2025. I’ve done what you require. Please remove all Spanish ads now please. Thank you.
How much longer til this is fixed?

Spanish Ads Are Back!...WHY?! This app needs a language specifier!
Clearly sending screenshot is not fixing the problem. Is Pandora working on an ACTUAL solution to this problem??
This has been a problem for somewhere between 3-5 years, and the entire time there's been someone claiming that sending screenshots to Pandora is a "solution."
Since sending screenshots hasn't affected anything, and adding a language option is clearly the only real solution here, can the moderators please block this person from changing the solution?
My thoughts as well.
I will stop listening to Pandora due to all the Spanish speaking commercials.
I Heart Radio or Spotify will now be my choice of music apps.
Good bye Pandora
For some reason I get a lot of Spanish ads on my Pandor channels. I don't speak Spanish and I have checked throughout my Google account and no where do I have anything related to being able to speak Spanish. Any ideas on how to get these to stop?
The so-called solution you have offered is not effective. When your customers are providing feedback about an error made by your company, the proper response is NOT to ask your customer to do the work for you to solve it. Instead, your company should be doing their own research in to the problem and finding an ACTUAL solution. Just on this thread alone, I see a good number of users who are no longer Pandora listeners based solely on this issue. Why is this not higher on your "to do list"??
Why has no one on your internal IT team just created an option within the parameters of editing your personal profile where you can choose your preferred language and/or a toggle switch to turn on/off the option for ads in other languages or, the option to thumb down a particular ad to get a more tailored ad experience??
