We are a local government and are tax-exempt. How do I go about getting the taxes credited back to my account?
@communications8 I have created a ticket with our support team for you.
They will be contacting you privately via email to help look into this further, so please keep an eye out for their message.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Hello,
This account is paid for by my work which is a Tax Exempt 501(c(3)). How can I have taxes removed from billing?

Hi, my organization is also tax exempt , how can we upload my tax exempt letter and get this exemption reflected on my invoices? Also, any way that i can get invoice/receipt sent to my email on account automatically every month?
Hi @naaitapps
Thanks for reaching out! I've created a ticket with our Listener Care team. They'll follow up with you via the email associated with your Pandora email address.
Please keep and eye out for their message. Thanks for your patience!
We are a non-profit and need the tax removed from our subscription. How can I do this? Thanks!
@crawfordlong Unfortunately, the copyright code does not make a distinction between commercial businesses and nonprofit businesses. Any enterprise outside of personal, individual use requires a type of license that Pandora can only provide through its partner, Mood Media.
Once you've subscribed via Mood Media, you can contact Mood Media directly to ask them to apply the tax exemption. You can get in touch with them here.

So even 501(c(3)) like others mentioned above?
Hi,
Can I get a copy of my latest receipt that includes the tax amount.
Also, how do I submit my tax exempt certificate?
Thanks! Tina
Hi there, @toliveir. 👋
Thanks for visiting the Pandora Community! I moved your post over to this existing thread to keep everything organized: Tax Exemption
As a general rule, any time you play music in a public place, you must have the proper licenses and pay the required royalties. This license requirement helps fairly compensate artists, authors, composers, publishers and other rightsholders. Pandora is only authorized to grant you a license to use the Pandora service for personal non-commercial purposes, as stated in our terms of use.
However, under the U.S. Copyright Act, the performance or display of a work by instructors or pupils in the course of face-to-face teaching activities of a nonprofit educational institution may, in certain, limited circumstances, be exempt from certain license requirements. You should consult the venue in which you are speaking, the institution which is conducting or sponsoring the conference or workshop, or your own attorney for advice on whether your use of the Pandora service might qualify under this or some other exception to the licensing requirements of the U.S. Copyright Act.
In the meantime, I've gone ahead and sent over the receipt for you. Please check your inbox soon. 📬
