I'm listening online and the website keeps buffering. Any ideas as to why?
@diezel485 Welcome to Community!
It sounds like the issue may be related to the network you're using to connect to Pandora.
Please try connecting your device directly via an Ethernet cable and see if that helps.
If there is no change, try rebooting your connection:
If Pandora still isn't working, could you check if you're able to connect to your network using another streaming service, such as YouTube?
You might also try connecting your device to an entirely different network, or using a different device on your current network, to see if your streaming improves.
Let me know how it goes!
Constant buffering. Have good internet.

Buffering issues with Pandora Plus can be frustrating, especially if your internet connection is solid. Here are some common causes and fixes you can try:
Restart the app/device: Close Pandora completely and reopen it. If possible, restart your phone, tablet, or computer.
Clear cache/data: On mobile, go to your app settings and clear Pandora’s cache. On browsers, clear cookies/cache.
Update the app: Make sure you’re running the latest version of Pandora. Updates often fix streaming bugs.
Switch connection type: If you’re on Wi-Fi, try mobile data (or vice versa) to see if buffering improves.
Disable VPNs or firewalls: Sometimes these interfere with streaming.
Audio quality settings: In Pandora Plus, higher quality streaming can cause buffering if the connection fluctuates. Try lowering the audio quality in settings.
Background apps: Close other apps or tabs that might be using bandwidth.
Router reset: Even with good internet, a quick router restart can clear up connection hiccups.
Try Pandora on another device (phone vs. computer) to see if it’s device-specific.
If buffering happens at certain times, it could be network congestion from your ISP.
Pandora’s servers occasionally have outages—worth checking their Pandora Help Twitter or support page for updates.
I've been a Premium customer since 10/2019, and I have found these fixes to be of great help.
Take care, and GOD bless.
Hi @feford , thanks for posting!
I'm sorry for the trouble. Can you tell me more about what's happening? Does this happen only when you listen on your iPhone? Or does it happen on other devices too?
In the meantime, let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.
First, I recommend rebooting the device by shutting it down entirely, then turning it back on and trying Pandora again.
If you're still having issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you).* To do that:
*Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically. If you have any trouble with your offline stations after reinstalling, please let us know.
Hope this helps.
