@Smmpopp I moved your post over to the iOS space.

I'd be happy to help with any questions you have, but I will need additional information to do so.

Can you explain your issue a bit further?

The more details you're able to provide, the better equipped I'll be to help.

I look forward to hearing back.

after I receive a text, Pandora pauses, and I have to manually press play. This is very frustrating, because I am at the gym, and my iPhone is in my pocket. Why does Pandora pause, and how do I resolve this issue?

Hi there, @Dgkdpm .

Thanks so much for reporting this. I understand how frustrating this can be.

Can you please try the steps described here and restart your phone after that?

I can also report this to our engineers on your behalf, can you send over a bit more info about your device?

  • Model:
  • Carrier:
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone):
  • Pandora version (Go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number):

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?

Let me know how it goes.

Hi My Iphone does it aswell.  I get a text message, it stops dead until I open the phone & have to hit play.  Same with a phone call, & any other app that alerts me Pandora just stops...kind of annoying as I will have music on while working.  Any help for this? Thanks Iphone 14  pandora 2506.1.1

@Thebigslick Welcome to Community!

Sorry to hear that. If you haven't already, let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.

First, I recommend rebooting the device by shutting it down entirely, then turning it back on and trying Pandora again.

If you're still having issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you).* To do that:
1. Hold down the Pandora icon on your Home screen until all the icons start "shaking."
2. Then tap - in the upper left of the Pandora icon, and confirm that you want to Delete app.
3. Then re-install Pandora via the App Store on your device.

*Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically. If you have any trouble with your offline stations after reinstalling, please let us know.

Hope this helps.
