I can’t resist, I have to offer some thoughts for this thread. Lol 1. Why is everyone acting like Pandora is failing to do something, there isn’t one music streaming service that allows you to turn off album art. lol. I have never even heard anyone call for this until this thread. Should Netflix filter the movie artwork? I mean every streaming service, TV, Movies, Music etc show the artwork. If anyone can name a service that allows you to turn that off, I would love to check it out to see how it works. So this isn’t like Pandora is just ignoring a common feature. 2. What kind of music are you listening to that you are being constantly bombarded with explicit artwork. I literally listen to every genre on earth, there are times something will show up and I will be like , wow, well ok then. However, that is typically the exception definitely not the rule. 3. If you are at work, just start the station you want, minimize the Pandora window or move it to something other than the album artwork showing and problem solved. It’s like your own built in filter. lol 4. Create a playlist of music with all of the album approved artwork that meets your moral standards. 5. listen to music on your phone. Hit play, turn it over so you don’t have to see the screen. lol Or just completely minimize the Pandora app and you get music and no artwork, it’s like a filter. lol Throughout the history of music there has been some controversial album covers, does anyone remember the day of going to a record store and looking through the albums. Nothing was filtered. lol. Sometimes one would be so controversial that the record company may issue the album with a new cover but many times the bands would resist that. There is a good possibility that the artist you love listening to, may like their album artwork. lol.
