I wanted to share that I've newly noticed a nuance of this bug. Again, my shuffle is most usually getting stuck on either my "JBJ Christian & Gospel" or my "JBJ Country" stations. So I tried shuffling those two problem stations together. And, lo and behold, after a couple songs it would get stuck on one station or the other. And no matter how many times I skip, or leave shuffle and come back, it's unable to mix the two stations for more than 1 or 2 songs. Pandora always gets stuck on one or the other, endlessley. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue with a select few of their stations being the culprit?

Likewise, it just happened to me again moments ago. Listening via my Google Home /iPhone, and all of a sudden I realized that I'd only heard country for the past 3 or 4 songs. So I skipped ahead 10 songs (Pandora Plus), and they were all still Country songs. (Mind you, I have 60 different stations, and only 5ish of them should play country music.) Again, when this issue occurs it seems to usually be with the same stations. This time, presumably my "JBJ Country" station again, for the 5th or 6th time. I again "fixed" it by selectively shuffling a few stations, skipping a bunch of songs, and re-selecting "Shuffle All". It's working again... for now.

@AdamPandora I can confirm that this issue is still sporadically occurring. I've been shuffling all day long just fine, but just noticed that for the past 30+ minutes everything has sound very holy... so I skipped 10 songs into the future and behold, it appears that my mobile Pandora was stuck shuffling my "JBJ Christian & Gospel" station. In fact, this issue seems to recur most specifically with my "JBJ Christian & Gospel" station and my "JBJ Country" station. It's happened a handful of times, and so far has always been with one of those stations. I "fixed" it for now again by changing shuffle to just 1 or 2 stations, skipped a 5 or 10 songs to clear the digital memory, and then selected Shuffle All again. And viola, it's shuffling everything again. For now... until I notice a bunch of holy praise or southern twang playing on repeat again.

Wanted to drop in and say I've been having the same issue recently too, for almost a week! Sometimes it's just a few songs in a row; sometimes more. I've noticed it can be temporarily "fixed" by switching stations or skipping a bunch. Out of curiosity I just let it play last week, to see if it the shuffle would correct itself. While shuffling all of my 60 stations at once, it played the same station for over an hour. That was, until I canceled out the shuffle and reset it again. I have seen your earlier message @AdamPandora , and I can too confirm that sometimes the same station will repeat. I've experienced this listening problem on Mobile, Casting, & Desktop (although it's easiest to view the problem on Desktop, due to the station banner thing).

Good morning Pandora team; I have a genuine question. I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way. It's been a month since this issue was first brought to attention: a small software glitch (the alarm doesn't play), with real lifestyle implications (waking up on time). Pandora is a multi-billion dollar company. How does it take so long to fix a single bug? What causes the holdup for the millions of users? Unfortunately this isn't the first time, and I'm not sure I understand. Thanks

It’s ether evident that the issue is on Pandora’s end, but nevertheless: iPhone SE (3rd gen) Metro by T-Mobile iOS 15.5 Pandora 2205.1 Both / Wi-Fi How are things with the iOS team? Could this be fixed soon?

Nine months later, this has finally solved for me. I tried to Custom Shuffle this weekend, and it worked. It's sad to even say this, but I'm overjoyed. (For now, at least.) If you've been having this problem, hopefully it'll randomly get fixed for you at some point too. Good luck.

@AdamPandora It's simply, literally not there as a Mode option. Here's a screenshot from yesterday morning as a visual: The night before, I had set this station to Crowd Faves, and set my Pandora Alarm Clock to this same station. Thankfully, it actually went off in the morning. But it was playing as My Station, not as Crowd Faves. And as you can see, Crowd Faves isn't even available to be selected.

I just left it on My Station last night, and this morning the Pandora Alarm Clock worked. I tested this with my "JBJ Christian & Gospel" station again, since that's one of the several stations which failed to play earlier this week. As an aside, while it was playing this morning, the Mode menu was completely unavailable. Nothing was there. Just how Modes is absent when we're on Shuffle. Does this mean that we can't use Modes with the Pandora Alarm Clock anymore? @AdamPandora

Thank you @AdamPandora . What's the response window for tickets / the engineering team? (And just to clarify, that error message doesn't appear when I'm actually setting the alarm clock the night before; it appears when the alarm attempts to sound the next morning and prevents the music from playing.) To your additional question! I don't know yet, but that's what I'll be trying next tomorrow morning. I will reply here with what happens when I leave it on "My Station". It's worth noting that while I may be using a given Mode prior to setting the Alarm Clock, when the Alarm Clock would play the next morning it would just play the regular "My Station" --- not the Mode it was previously playing. In fact, the Mode it was previously playing will often then be absent from the selection menu. It won't even be there in the morning, or for many hours. For example: Let's say I'm getting ready for bed, and want to wake up to my "JBJ 80s" station on Crowd Faves Mode. I'll open "JBJ 80s", set it to Crowd Faves, go to Profile, go to Settings, go to Alarm Clock, hit Station, select "JBJ 80s", set the time, save it, and turn the Pandora Alarm Clock on. When I'd wake "JBJ 80s" would be playing on time, but after a closer look it'd be playing the default "My Station". AND "Crowd Faves" would no longer be available; I'd have to use "My Station" or "Discovery" or etc for the next couple of hours until it eventually came back. All of this was, of course, before the error just stopped the Pandora Alarm Clock from playing in the morning entirely.

This morning the Alarm failed again with my “JBJ Alternative” station. Yesterday it happened with my “JBJ County” station, from whence I sent that screenshot here. On Sunday morning it happened with my “JBJ Christian & Gospel” station too. That’s from recent memory. Does that help @AdamPandora? I can let you know what happens tomorrow too

"Where are you listening (home, work, or on the go)?" Home. When I'm using the Pandora Alarm, I'm usually asleep at home. And the error has been happening every morning recently. I also listen to Pandora at work and on the go. This error happens sometimes, but again, "Normally it's just annoying; I'll have to select another station and then go back for it to work. And/Or I won't be able to use the Mode that I was previously playing." "Is this happening on all your stations or just one?" Recently, this error has been happening on any station I set my Pandora Alarm to. Previously, this error would only happen on my densest stations with the most station seeds. "Are you using Pandora Modes when experiencing this issue?" Yes, I do use Pandora Modes. I think they're a great feature. I have been using Pandora Modes prior to and while experiencing this issue. "Is this happening when on Wi-Fi or cellular data?" I keep both Wi-Fi and cellular data enabled on my phone. When I'm resting at home with my Pandora Alarm, my phone is connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network. "Does this occur on all your devices or just one?" I can only use the Pandora Alarm on my mobile device. My device is an iPhone SE (2020), iOS 15.3. I don't... recall... this particular error occurring on my MacBook. I believe just my iPhone. (Granted, I still can't Shuffle right on either.) Any other questions @AdamPandora? How can I help you guys fix my account, so I can wake up on time haha Thank you

Recently and with increasing frequency I've been getting this error screen when I try to play stations.
Normally it's just annoying; I'll have to select another station and then go back for it to work. And/Or I won't be able to use the Mode that I was previously playing.
But as it's been increasing in frequency, it's been plaguing my Pandora Alarm. In fact this screenshot here is what I had the pleasure of waking up late to this morning. And multiple mornings recently.
Is it just me? Or is it Pandora-wide? Can y'all fix this? Or should I stop counting on Pandora's Alarm.
In addition, I'm still unable to Shuffle any less than All of my stations. If I set Shuffle to a specific set of stations, Pandora will ignore me and continue Shuffling every station. I've been reporting this issue here since the Summer of last year. Pandora, I would really love if you could fix this too one day.

Happy New Year🎉 No matter what I do, no matter which device I use, no matter what stations I select, Shuffle continues to cycle all of my stations together. I've even tried deleting all my stations and bringing them back; the problem persists. (For example: This month I was in TX, so I felt like listening to a Custom Shuffle tri-blend of my Hip Hop, R&B, and Country stations--- except I couldn't. I have to either choose only one of my stations, or I have to Shuffle all 70 of my stations together at once. My Shuffle ignores specific station selections.) Are my custom stations broken? Is my profile broken?? Is Pandora broken??? I posted about this last year. The engineers never fixed it for me. Hopefully 2022 can be better.

UPDATE: "Browse Genres" stations and "Decades" stations are back on desktop! However most of the "Moods and Activities" stations are still MissingInAction. And on mobile, that error I previously posted still appears.

Thanks @AdamPandora . I do want to emphasize that it's bigger than just my mobile "For You" though. I first noticed that Genre, Decades, and Mood stations were missing on the desktop Browse; even if I wasn't using my account. Happy you're aware of it. Hope it will be fixed.

Good morning folks, It's not just me right? Go to Browse, and Pandora's Genre Stations are no longer there?? On desktop, the Genre stations section is gone completely! And Decades stations too! Featured Playlists, Top Stations, Moods and Activities, Trendsetters: Artists on the Rise, Top Artists, Recommended Podcasts, New Music; they're all still there. And yet half the categories on "Moods and Activities" are gone too! (e.g. Brunch, Chill, Cooking, Dinner Party, Focus, etc) On mobile, I can go to Browse, I can go to Genres, I can select any of them and see New Releases, Exclusive Stories With Artists, Top Songs This Week, etc. But if one scrolls down and presses "See all stations in __________" they'll get this error: I've noticed Genre Stations' absence for about a week. What happened to them?
