Followup: The main takeaway here is that there needs to be a way for people to learn about the songs they are hearing in order to find similar tracks. There are plenty of great features already built in but it's lacking the human element. Lot's of music experts who are passionate about genres and styles are out there and willing to better aid their fellow listeners than simply having us rely on the "100 thumbs down until something similar shows up" method. Many of the unique or obscure songs we hear are outside of the general/broad placement in the system and starting a station based on something "too" different often leads us down a dead-end and it's disappointing when there are no automatic suggestions that even closely resemble the track, 'Traditional Acoustic Jewish Klezmer' songs, for example - These seem to confuse the algorithm and creating a station based on one of these songs will give you a disturbing mix of electro-punk, Irish cowboy blues and death metal, none of which make any sense in that context. Having a fellow fan or music critic in the comments section below a track would skip all the hassle. We could simply ask, "Anyone know what genre this is?" and it wouldn't take long before some useful information starts pouring in from all sides. I'm sure many listeners agree. Let's bump this feature request! Thanks! ☕
