Honestly, both tracks are classics, but I always end up leaning towards "I Want It That Way" for nostalgia reasons. Backstreet Boys was the anthem all through my school years and it still brings back memories of singing with friends at school dances. Lyrically, Vanessa Carlton’s song is probably deeper, but there's something about the harmonies and that catchy chorus in "I Want It That Way" that just never gets old for me. If you’re as much of a fan as I am and ever want to catch them live, there are usually tickets for their shows here.
