Good Thursday morning Pandora Community. As you all know Ida has left a path of destruction that has nearly spread 2,000 miles. From a Cat 4 hurricane to devasting tornados and flooding starting in the Bayou's of Lousiana and Mississippi, the panhandle of Florida, going as far north as Main. So many have lost loved ones, homes, pets, businesses, and more. If I myself was not a supporter of the American Red Cross as well as other charities I would not be posting this. So, please just take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and look up some of the charities that are helping those who are suffering from Ida's wrath. @damienwoleben51 for me this is an easy choice, Van Halen, but I also need to clarify one small detail, because there is Van Halen w/ David Lee Roth, and there is Van Hagar (when Sammy Hagar took David Lee Roths place). So for me, it is Van Halen before Sammy Hagar, and I would have to choose Bon Jovi after David Lee's departure. As far as I'm concerned, Van Halen's music was never the same when they let David Lee Roth go. I'm sure there will be many different opinions about this but they did have the album of the year in 1984 and that is with David Lee. Even their music videos are very different, the most popular videos are with David Lee Roth. I honestly believe the Van Halen brothers were getting jealous about the very fact David Lee Roth was becoming the limelight of the group (with the exception of Eddie Van Halen's guitar playing talent) plus the fact David Lee wanted more money, and they were constantly butting heads about other things besides money. @Cocktailsat6 I listened to both of your songs "Vegas Vertigo" and "Vacay Cay". I will be adding both of your songs to tomorrow's post and playlist. I would also like a little background info about each song, If you have ever been to the GSOTD post you would be able to read some background info about the artist as well as the song.
