Update: Whatever is going on under Pandora's hood, something went wonderfully right. My podcasts now resume on the right podcast episode, at the right spot in the episode. Episode progress syncs quickly across Android, iOS, and desktop web platforms. THANK YOU! You have no idea how happy this makes me. This has already saved me much time and frustration. Thanks for trying @bp4437, but I still can't access your playlists. I'm only a Pandora Plus user, but I should still be able to listen to your plalyists with ads. I suspect your account is set to private. You can change that by following these instructions: Visit www.pandora.com then click on the icon (initial or picture) in the upper right corner of your screen. Select Settings > Account. Under Profile Privacy choose either of the following settings: Select Private to restrict anyone from seeing your Pandora web profile and to disable Facebook sharing. Select Public to share your listening activity with others.

Hi @GerberGEEK, I would recommend a station based on video game soundtracks like Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, and Halo. They create a good epic feel without being too dramatic. You might want a separate station for boss battles based on artists like Two Steps From Hell. If you want some starter stations, feel free to use mine: Overly Dramatic Film Scores Video Game/Movie Soundtracks: Songs for Epics Songs of Quiet Courage Happy gaming!

@AdamPandora thank you, I think that explain a lot. I understand now that Pandora is accidentally treating some of my stations like genre stations, even though I specifically recall creating them from scratch myself from specific artists and songs. I've noticed this has only happened for my three oldest stations. Perhaps there is a programming bug at work here that only affects older stations. I used to use Pandora's curated stations when I was a newbie, but I created my own separate stations based on my thumbs-up history from the artists listed in the curated station. Please stop implying that these are curated stations that I am no longer able to edit due to a bug resolution. I would like an answer here that fits my question - it's OK if you don't have it.

Also, if I created some of my own Pandora stations, when did Pandora take over and start curating them? Why would they start curating some of my stations and not others? Is there any way to keep Pandora curators OUT of my stations?

Hi @AdamPandora, thanks for getting back to me. I followed the troubleshooting instructions for Android and iOS without any luck. Information about my Android device: Model: LG V20 Carrier: H2O Wireless Android version: 8.0.0 Build number: OPR1.170623.032 Android Security Patch Level, if noted on your device (Settings > About Phone): N/A Pandora version: 2006.2 Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening? Wi-fi Have you identified any other patterns or notable information? The error has happened across multiple podcasts. The error is contained within each podcast - it does switch to another podcast. The error seems to sometimes favor certain podcast episodes, but I have not figured out why. It doesn't matter if the episode was partly or fully viewed. For example, today when I hit play to listen to Sneak Attack (it should have gone to episode 41) it went to the middle of Sneak Attack, Episode 18 - Aftermath. It still wanted to load Episode 18, but at a different place in the podcast, after closing the app and repeating the process. Information about my iOS device: Device & Generation: 6s Carrier: Verizon 41.1 iOS version: 13.5.1 Pandora version: 2006.2 Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening? Wi-fi Have you identified any other patterns or notable information? See above, the error pattern seems very similar.

Assuming this is a feature and not a bug, I've opened up a feature request to address the problem. Click here to view the page and support this feature request! I've had the same problem. I created a custom station from my own seeds titled "Praise and Worship" and within the last month, I suddenly could not edit the station in backstage mode. The edit station option is grayed out. It's a pity, I've been customizing that station for years!

Whenever I listen to a podcast on a mobile device (Android or iOS) and close Pandora, the next time I open that podcast again Pandora opens a previously listened-to episode. This makes it very tedious to navigate podcasts with lots of episodes - I need to go to the podcast page and select the right the podcast manually! Can you please teach Pandora to remember what podcast episode I was listening to last? Moderator Edit: Edited title for clarity
