You should be able to upgrade to Premium on your Android device with the following steps: Open the Pandora app and sign in, if prompted. Tap Profile, then select the Settings gear icon. When this issue occurs:  Is the app still open in the background where you're able to press play and resume music or do you need to close and relaunch the app to continue listening? Does this happen with all podcasts, or only a specific one? If only a specific podcast, what is the name of it?  Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data?  If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off? Could you confirm that you are logged into your upgraded account on your device? Sometimes, it may help to sign out of Pandora, and then sign back in using the email address associated with your upgraded account. If you are still seeing ads after confirming you are logged in with the correct address, can you please send me a screenshot of the next ad that plays? Thank you for working with me on this. Shuffle option disappeared: If you upgrade to Pandora Premium, you'll automatically be transitioned into the Premium experience, which looks a little different from our free or Plus experiences.  Shuffle is located in a different area of the app depending on if you are upgraded to Pandora Premium, or if you are on the free/Plus service. How to Shuffle with Premium: Shuffling from the My Collection page: Premium listeners can go to My Collection, and sort the collection by Stations and select Shuffle Stations.
