This just happened to me again.   This morning I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The phone is plugged in, on wifi, latest version of the app, app is online. It stopped after playing 8 songs on my thumbs up.  The ninth song did not play.  The status was playing (could press pause), but the counter was at 0 seconds and not moving.  No sound.  to get it to play i had to pause and play.   ... Pandora does not smoothly transition to downloaded music when it loses service, and you can't tell if it is playing downloaded music or not.  I am surprised at how often it should be playing a downloaded song and its playing a streaming song!  Why stream a station I've downloaded?     Requests: 1) always prefer to play the downloaded version of the song instead of the streamed version 2) add an indicator if pandora is streaming or playing downloaded content ... I have had this problem, too.  It can be difficult to get a "good" download of all the songs.  I get lots of missed songs and half songs and ones that just don't play as well.  Can you add some checking like hashes or something and check the song downloads for us?   ... View more

Does this only happen when you're using Siri and Pandora is in offline mode? This is mostly how I run it on the bike, BUT i think it also happens when pandora is online but maybe i dont have good signal strength. i also sometimes say "siri press play" and pandora already thinks it is playing, but it isnt making noise, so i have to say it twice, then sometimes pandora just crashes and i have to stop riding and start the app again and you cant just stop on ups and downs!   running music when i dont have signal in the mountains is the entire reason i have pandora premium.  its not good at this though, compared to many other music apps ive used in the past.   Pandora app doesnt keep the music playing, im doing something online, it stops playing music, i switch it to offline, bang on it a bunch, finally get some music playing, and then it stops again, so i ask.   Iphone XS 13.6 pandora 2007.2 ...
