No luck with F5. I thought I'd try exiting and reloading Pandora, same. I wanted to avoid clearing the cache if I could (cookies, fine) so I logged off and back on. That got the display and title to show. Next time I may clear the cache. I use Firefox for Pandora, Chrome for everythng else.

Many times lately while using the Pandora browser (I gave up on the app, consistent troubles) instead of the album cover and song title and artist displaying, it's just a generic record spinning. I hit Like but don't know the song. Then the next tune played and displayed as it should. If I reveiw history, thinking it would display what I liked, it only displayed the tunes rhat displayed normally, and not the one I Liked. Aside from a technical issue with the online stream, is there anything I could do during the session with the generic record spinning to have it appear normal? I could close/open the session which might work, but that wouldn't reveal the tune I couldn't see.

Again, the Windows desktop app just displays Pandora without a log in option, and why should I have to keep logging in? Never did that before, both having to log in each time and not going to the log in screen. It's better to just browse to the bookmark. I may de-install the app.

I stated that I de-installed and re-installed the app. I didn't realize Alt would bring up the menu on the top where Help - Troubleshooting - Reset App Data could be accessed which will restore the font size, That tip does help. I'm using Windows 11.

About a week ago I accidentally reduced the font size. I could not increase it to the original size, only Control - could be used which decreased the size. I had to delete then re-install the app. Same thing happened, I then discovered I could Reset the app instead of uninstalling and reinstalling. Then for the last few days when starting the app just the Pandora logo with the blue background shows. If it goes beyond that I have to log in. Previously before re-installing due to the font situation I rarely ever had to log in. Is there anything that can be done for the app to work properly? I've stopped using it and will likely continue to use a bookmark on my browser.

It's been almost a year since I reported this and it still happens. I wouldn't mind so much if I was listening for free - but I've had a paid subscription for several years. I think it started happening about a year ago.

Hi - the only 'help' so far was having my title back to something more accurate. I see my internet IP address has changed since the last time I made note of it, so that's probably why. If I need to log in again, I'll check to see if it changed. So probably not a Pandora situation.

Ok thanks. My title was modified inaccurately to something very unclear - "I'm randomly logged out". That makes it sound like when listening I get logged out. That is not the case. "I must randomly log in" describes the situation much better. No rush, it's been fine since. Thanks to whoever edited the title again, it's accurate now.

Not a big deal, just wondering why randomly the app will require a new login. I can go for a few months without needing to. Doesn't seem to coincide with other websites that even less often may require the same. I'm always concerned when that happens, that I am in fact connecting the the authentic Pandora site. It's just ridiculous that a basic function, like Exit is no longer on the app. Another reason I usually use my laptop to for Pandora, or my own playlists with music that I've purchased.

Sometimes that's what I would do. I usually use my laptop for Pandora, but this time of year (summer) sometimes I'll use it on my cell phone since the Wi-Fi signal seems to work better with it out on the deck. I'd usually just power the phone off while Pandora was running (I'm old school with analog phones in the house). As mentioned elsewhere here - another method is to press Recent Apps. On my Samsung Galaxy J7 it's to the left of the home key on the bottom. That will reduce the size of the app, which can then be swiped up to close. It took me awhile to find Recent Apps. I just don't use my cell phone often like most others do.

Same thing happens as suspected after deleting/reinstalling. Not a big deal to use a separate browser to the Pandora site to listen.

Hello Alyssa, no error message. A screenshot is attached. I'll de-install and re-install the app. Not going to disrupt and shut down my internet hardware, I don't have trouble with anything else. If I have the same trouble, I'll just connect via the website. Thanks for the reply.

Happens very frequently when listening. The only way I've found to resume playing is to choose another station and return to the one I was listening to. It never happens when I go to Pandora's website using Chrome of Firefox. It happens so often I was considering uninstalling the app and listen by going to the website. I thought there would be an advantage to having the app. I thought I'd post this if there's any resolution. I did see another post where there were a whole lot of pc troubleshooting steps, but I believe it didn't resolve the situation for the member. mod edit: changed title for clarity

Dare I say - and I hope I'm not speaking too soon or end up jinxing it, but it seems like that last week or so Chillout and Gandalf Radio are back to playing good tunes as they were previously.

Great, thought I'd not have to be concerned with Gandalf Radio. Now that has been playing weird vocal selections! Some spoken, very annoying. Why is Pandora doing this? To annoy customers? If it keeps up I really need to reconsider renewing in January.

Suddenly very strange tunes on Chillout Radio Suddenly, today 11/20/23 Chillout starting playing very weird vocal selections. Very very annoying. This happened months ago, then for several months it was fine. I wonder why in the world are these weird selections are now being played? I lost count how many simultaneous songs I thumbed down. Someone or some thing messed with it big time and it's terrible. I agree. Chillout Radio become terrible lately with outright strange annoying music. It was a big, negative change that happened this week. I no longer listen to that station. I wonder if others will follow the same ridiculous trend. Moderator Edit: Merged comments
