This may or may not help. What fixed it for me was- My phone was finally upgraded to Android 12. That added a new selection in my Pandora apps settings. Go in your phone under Settings, click Apps, then mine has me click App Info to get to the apps, select Pandora, select Permissions. The new setting I was given is 'Nearby Devices Permission'. I've been a Premium member for a while, and my monthly subscription has been through Google Play subscriptions. I want to change to the family plan but am not allowed since my payment is going through Google Play. I have cancelled my subscription there and will make the payment to Pandora. I have questions. Mine is finally working. My older LG phone has been running android 11. A couple of days ago, I was updated to android 12. Now I have the 'nearby devices' option in the Pandora app permissions. Hi there. My phone is an LG G8 ThinQ, model LM-G820TM Pandora version 2208.2 I connect to my truck via bluetooth. I select Pandora on the truck stereo screen, and it launches Pandora on my phone, playing on the truck stereo. My truck is older, before Android Auto or Car Play was included. When it's working, the screen will go to the black Pandora screen on my phone, and the Pandora screen and controls are shown on the truck stereo. One day it just stopped. It gives an error saying check connected device. The phone is connected to the truck, I can see the phone status on my truck stereo, and the song is playing on my phone but with no audio, and the phone stays on the regular Pandora screen, and doesn't switch to the black Pandora screen. For a while before this happened, it stopped doing auto launch in my truck even though the auto launch is selected in the app. I have been starting the app on my phone, then selecting it on the truck and it would work fine after that. After connecting the first time, it would auto launch every time the phone connects to the truck, until the next day that I'm in my truck, then I have to start the app first again. It still works in my truck if I use a USB cable and play Pandora through the media button on the truck. The Pandora screen does not show up this way, only generic controls.   ... View more

I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado, and I have been connecting Pandora premium on the stock infotainment center for years. I have the app on the phone and the Pandora icon on the truck screen. No Android Auto or anything like that. I manually select the Pandora icon on the truck screen and Pandora launches via bluetooth. Within the past week or so, it will no longer connect. I've done everything I know to do. I restarted the app, restarted my android phone, deleted the cache, signed out and back in, unpaired the phone from the truck and reconnected, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, even reset my phone. I've checked the app settings and everything looks fine. The app is up to date as well as my phone. I don't know why it will suddenly not connect. My phone is an LG ThinQ G8. If I start Pandora manually after it connects to my truck on bluetooth, you can see a song playing, but nothing over the truck. It will work if I use a USB cable and connect to the truck through the media button on the stereo, but that is not how I have been using it. When I use it that way, there's no album art and no thumbs up/thumbs down. Any ideas? If it's a problem with a recent update, then I can't believe I'm the only one experiencing this. I only have the one account. I signed out on my phone and signed back in. On my phone, when I go to My Collection, under Playlists, the playlist I made is not there.
