Hi Chris, I have been trying to keep my political commentary songs on the high road, but my anger overflowed and I need to express it. I thought about the stereotypes of women with daddy issues and contrasted them with the US president and his sidekick. I always try to make my songs have high clarity of lyrics and catchy, and I love how this birth expresses the anger that I wanted while having some humor and being super catchy. I am finding my songs rotate between practical ("Rise above the Rage"), angry ("Better Off""), and sad (my next release "We're all screwed"). Hi, just checking to get an expectation about how much time is reasonable and how much might indicate a problem. It's now 4+ weeks since it got added and still zero plays. I don't want to be a nag, but I don't want to not raise an issue if there is one. When is it reasonable to be concerned? I have a fear that it is getting played and skipped so the streams are just not registering, but that may just be me not understanding how to fully account for the numbers. I doesn't seem like track length because the first song that came up when I went to the new age station was longer (7:00). Could there be a bug where songs that have a# in the title don't play? Hi, I was notified on 1/18 that my track "Relax #1" by Icebox Pi was added to 3 playlists: spa, new age and new age now.
It seen that it had not gotten a single play from any of those playlists. Is something wrong, or how should I interpret that? Is it getting presented and immediately skipped? I waited a while to give it time, now seems like too long for zero plays.

When a song is put on the playlist, does it increase the chances of getting analyzed? What should you expect in listens/day from the playlist? My song "Lust' was added (Thank you!!!) , but I don't see any plays and I still can't start a station from it. Just trying to understand what to expect.

I am exploring different prompting/building techniques with AI tools to build mainstream sounding, conceptual works, with a large variety of genres. My first song was part of a series that I created where I did a song for the biggest news story of each day between 7/7/24 and 8/8/24. I think this song (about the Global IT Outage) stands on its own as a good rock song and a commentary that the situation highlights. I have another single and an album that I have released, but I am still working through everything showing up under my artist profile, so those should be there soon. My second song was my attempt to really work on a complicated issue and write a good song about it, so I created "Tangled Words", my 2nd release, about the 2nd Amendment. I think it is fun, compelling and really good and catchy without being trite or judgy. I am very interested in getting these in front of a curator and really seeing if others like them and they feel them the way I do. I have many more to release over the next few months, with a wide variety of genres. I think the approach to creation (if done well) will surprise people in terms of retaining the good things about streamed music (not-so-much performance), but removing the constraints enabling a lot more exploration because of the speed of generating ideas, validating and refining them both conceptually, lyrically and muscially.
