Hi! I would like to add all the songs of a specific artist to an existing playlist that already has other songs on it.
I searched for how to do so and could find only one answer to this. Unfortunately, the instructions don't work:
Search for the artist you want to add to your playlist
Hover your mouse over the artist's name and select the ellipsis
Select Add to Playlist
Choose an existing playlist to add the song to
When I search for the artist whose songs I want to add to my playlist, it does come up with an ellipsis beside it, but when I select it, the only option is "Share," which wants to share the artist to Twitter.
I can't find a way on my Pandora premium app either (iPhone 13).
It would be nice to add all the artist's songs to an existing playlist in one fell swoop instead of manually having to add 60+ songs one by one. Does anyone know how?

I'm so sorry - I didn't mean this against anyone personally! I definitely don't think anyone is a notorious complainer. I just mean they have saved me on more than one occasion and I am grateful to them for offering this level of support. Many other companies don't offer this level of support and it doesn't even seem to occur to them that they should. I do feel you when you say 2019 seems like a long time, but on the other hand, that would be to assume that this feature request is at the top of the list. But to the other 245 feature requesters, *theirs* surely feels like it should at the top of the list. 246 feature changes is a lot of work and a lot of time and a lot of staff. I mean, don't get me wrong: I would like this feature too, otherwise I wouldn't even be on this string! I guess I feel like this: we're already enjoying an incredible value with the features we already have; let's enjoy those in the meantime and hopefully they'll be able to implement this soon.

I second this idea! It would be awesome to have the ability to search for a song specifically within our own playlists. (For me, the reason I would request this feature is not so I can eliminate duplicate songs, but to find a song I really like but can't remember which playlist I put it on.) However, I disagree with the negative comments about Pandora's support. I feel like they do a really excellent job and go the extra mile to help individual users. They have saved me on more than occasion. There are 246 open ideas right now and they aren't going to be able to get to them all in one minute. Pandora Premium is an amazing bargain for what we already get!

I searched for an answer to my question (how to shuffle an artist's songs without having to add each song individually to a playlist), which is different than Hebrews 12v2's issue, and your answer to them answered *my* question. Is there a way to delete a song from my playlist *from the song's screen* not the playlist's screen?
I searched to see if I could find an answer to this but didn't find it; please forgive me if it's posted elsewhere!
Is there a way to delete a song from a playlist I made *from the song's screen* - not the *playlist's* screen?
I know how to swipe left to delete a song from my playlist on the playlists's screen. What I'm looking for is how to delete it on the song's screen.
My problem is this: my playlist will be playing a song that I don't want on it any longer, and the song's screen will be showing on my phone. To delete it now, I have to go back to the playlist and scroll through ALL the songs on that playlist until I happen upon that particular song, and swipe left to delete it. Because a few of my playlists have hundreds of songs on them, this just isn't practical. What I can see when I click on the ... menu on the song's screen:
- Collect (if I tap that, I get that the song has been added to My Collection)
- Download
- Share
- Add to Playlist
- Start Station
- Add to Queue
- Go to artist
- Go to playlist (which just takes me back to the playlist screen, not this song on it)
I'm now on a brand new iPhone 13, in case that info is helpful, and have Pandora Premium. And I love Pandora's tech support; they're wonderful and have helped me restore accidentally deleted playlists in the past 🙂

Solution! Hi Adam and Gerald, I was able to get my missing playlists back on my iPhone! I prayed for it (to Jesus) and this is what happened. I'm passing it along in the hopes that if anyone else has this issue, it might also help them. Quick background: So with this version of Pandora, Pandora assistant (I don't know what this is officially called) became available to me. When I first installed it, a little tutorial came up that said I could talk to the Pandora app and tell it what I wanted it to play, etc. I tried it and it brought up the song I wanted at the time, so nice. 🙂 Then last night I was going to start rebuilding one of the short (two-song) playlists that had gone missing from my phone, and I asked Pandora assistant to bring up the first song by the title I remembered for it. Instead of bringing up the song, it recognized that it had also been the name of a playlist, and said it was bringing up that playlist, which it did! So then I had one playlist back. So I asked it to bring up "X playlist" for each of the three longer playlists that were missing from my phone, and each time it did. For these three playlists, I also downloaded them, just in case. This morning all four playlists Pandora brought back this way were showing on my phone again. Yeah!! I'll do these with the others too. So I'm all set! Yay! You know where my gratitude goes. 😄 Thank you also for being so willing to help me. I was already a big fan of AdamPandora, and now I'm a fan of yours too, Gerald. 🙂

I have this same question! No one who answered has addressed it yet. Axen and I are both looking for a volume booster app separate from Pandora that works with Pandora. I've downloaded 12 volume booster apps on my iPhone and not one of them work with Pandora - they only work with Apple Music or songs I have downloaded myself onto my iPhone. Where they list the "music services" they work with, Pandora is never one of them. Does anyone know of a volume booster app that does work with Pandora? Thank you!

Hi Gerald and Adam, I have no idea if this is applicable to this, but one other thing I realized this morning (I noticed it yesterday but thought it was just a fluke, until it happened again today) - certain songs are playing noticeably quieter now, that used to not play this way before I uninstalled and reinstalled the Pandora app. Even turning to max volume, they're still way quieter than before - too quiet. These songs used to play at the same volume as other songs. Anyway, in case this helps! If there's a way I can go back to a previous edition of Pandora or iOS and get my Pandora app back the way it used to be, I would love to do that.

No, nothing else so far except that those nine were the ones I most recently played on my Pandora app before uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. They were all there before I uninstalled the Pandora app. (The problem I was having before I uninstalled the app was this: a few songs, always the same ones, would show but not play; also, if I stopped one song and pressed to play another song, Pandora would then play both songs simultaneously.) Do any other error messages pop up? If so, what exactly does it say? No error messages pop up; those nine playlists are just missing from my playlists screen Thank you for your help! Tiffany

- David Tolk Radio Thumbs Up (I added songs to this playlist, they weren't just my original thumbs up)
- Michael W. Smith Radio Thumbs Up (ditto)
- Without Words - Bethel Ins...
- Music Box Dancer MISSING BUT I CAN EASILY REBUILD
- Forever (short; I rebuilt this one and Majesty and combined them into a new playlist, Majesty II, so don't need either of these back)
- Majesty (ditto)
- Write Your Story On My Heart (this was just one song so I can recreate it; no need to restore)
- Symphony (ditto - just two songs)

I did, but am having the same result.
Also when I did this, I actually realized that two others of my playlists are also missing on my iPhone - old ones I never deleted - but they are also on my MacBook / online version of Pandora. This is so strange!
Do you have any other ideas as to how I can get these playlists to show on my iPhone too?

More info, just in case it helps (please disregard if it is irrelevant) ... I just went through all my playlists now on my iPhone and found many more are actually missing from it, but again, not from Pandora online in my MacBook browser. There seems to be a pattern: the *nine playlists I had played on my phone most recently* are the ones missing from my phone but not from my MacBook. All the other ones beyond that are still showing on my iPhone Pandora app.
Again, just in case this helps! (Also I would like to get these other playlists back on my phone, of course.)

Thank you, Gerald! ❤️ Thank you for being so thoughtful! Sweet with Words was actually another playlist. Let me check my Pandora app again! (I scrolled through all my playlists trying to find "Sweet" about 10 times but you never know, maybe there was a delay or something after the reinstall) Huh. No. "Sweet" is for sure not showing on my Pandora iPhone app. (I can send screenshots if that would be helpful) I'll try logging in on my MacBook to see if I can see it there. Yes!! There it is, on my MacBook Pandora! (www.pandora.com/collection/playlists) Do you happen to know how I can get it to show on my phone too? I usually use my phone to listen to Pandora. Our exchange has been archived, but back in May you were very kind and restored many playlists for me that I had accidentally deleted and was heartbroken over. (I'm still grateful for this!)
My Pandora has been acting up lately and when this happened before, Pandora suggested that I uninstall the Pandora app on my iPhone and reinstall it, which worked. So I did that this time too, just today.
The only thing: ALL my playlists were still there when I reinstalled the app but one. It was one of the many you had restored for me. Is there any way you can restore it again? It's one of the ones I listen to the most. Its name is Sweet.
