Sign on request everytime I start Pandora Windows Desktop App.
For the last month or longer, Pandora requires me to do a complete sign on every time I start it up. This hasn't been the case for the years. Kind of getting tired of typing my sign on name and password several times a day!
No problem with my iPhone IOS bPandora app.
Thanks for any replies!
Hi @tazola8 , thanks for posting!
I've passed this along to the appropriate parties for further investigation.

Hi @zaqxsw ,
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any additional information or a timeline for this, however, the info you've provided is helpful and I've made sure to pass it along.
Thanks very much for your patience in the meantime!
Very annoying to have to login every time I use the Pandora app on my Windows PC. Please fix this ASAP.
Almost every day, the Pandora desktop app repeatedly logs me out. For years, it never did this.
I'm on a PC, Windows 11.
Thanks!
OK, the Pandora website, not the Windows app, just didn't allpow me to sign in to this "Community" without closing out the website and opening it again. So, not only does the Windows app not respond correctly, but neither does the website.
None of the Pandora access modes work anymore outside of the iPhone app which I really don't know about because I don't use it to listen to my paid Pandora stations.
Not only the are the sign ins not remembered, but neither are my "Recently Played" stations remembered.
Come September, I'm cancelling and moving to a competitor music streaming site.
Same problem as the others. For me, it's the desktop app for Mac (Sequoia 15.3.2), and it has been asking me to constantly log back in instead of saving my info as it had previously. I've tried reinstalling the app entirely, deleting and resaving my password, and even deleting and creating a NEW password, and yet still the same annoying issue—which, like other people have mentioned, I hadn't had to deal with for years prior.
This became so annoying, I ended up finally cancelling my Pandora Plus subscription this morning, and will be looking elsewhere for my music options. I will still swing back here from time to time to see if anything's been fixed yet, as I really liked Pandora, had been a subscriber for years, and would very much prefer to return to it.
I'm also having the same issues with 3 different windows systems using the app. Pushing me to use my other streaming services..frustrating!
@femaljj Sorry to hear that.
I've gone ahead and passed your experience to the appropriate parties for further investigation.
Thanks for your patience!
Same issue. Been going on for months. Using Windows 11. When is this going to be fixed?
same issue. on multiple machines. Last night I was using the windows app (had to login again.) and this morning, same thing. when I goto work Monday, I'll have the same issue on that computer, as well as my laptop. Please, we're paying you, fix this.
Same problem but it's just 1 machine, my Win11 laptop. This problem started in the last month and seems to happen anytime I close Pandora or restart my machine. I've done all the troubleshooting (I work in IT). Seems like an undocumented feature.
Win11 using the app and it happens pretty much daily for me now and it just started in the last month.
The problem is entirely on their end. Most likely because they misconfigured their servers to invalidate the cookies the windows client side app is using to save our sign in information. I reported this same problem several weeks ago. They've done literally nothing to fix the problem. Utter incompetence on Pandora's side.
Hell, when I first try to sign in to this website it returns an authentication error after it tries to initially use the saved login information:
| message | "auth token has been invalidated" |
| errorCode | 1001 |
| errorString | "INVALID_REQUEST"
|
It's clear Pandora's IT people don't have a clue what they are doing.
Same problem for me with the Pandora desktop app on iMac, OS 12.7.6.
It's been happening for the last month or so.
Ugh. Same problem for me on Windows 11, with the Pandora app version 15.0.3.0, from the Microsoft Store. It's been happening for weeks. Starting the app appears to hang/freeze, then restarting the app requires login.
Pandora Support: What can we do to get a fix for this?
So, I tried some things that might have fixed it for me (still testing). You might try them too.
Main thing to try:
- In Pandora: Alt > Help > Troubleshooting > Reset App Data...
Other things to try if it's still not working:
- In Pandora: Alt > Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache and Restart
- In Settings: Apps > Installed Apps > Pandora > Advanced Options > Reset > Repair
- In Settings: Apps > Installed Apps > Pandora > Advanced Options > Reset > Reset
Note: The article that mentioned using "Alt" for the Troubleshooting menu is here:

Same problem here. The given "solutions" of resetting app data and uninstalling/reinstalling only work temporarily.
Same basic problem; Windows Desktop app Version 15.0.3. I have to reload/force reload and re-log in every time I start the app; has been happening for the past couple months. I have done the steps of clearing cache, resetting the app data, uninstall and reinstall multiple times now. Don't have this problem on my TV app.
It’s not staying signed in. Please correct this issue. It’s extremely frustrating to the point I’m considering another music app. I’m using Windows 11.
I downloaded the Pandora app thinking it would be better than the webpage. But the app never remembers my login info. Neither does windows. Is there a way to get the app to store my username/password?
Also, a lot of times when I open the app on Win11, he app opens but there is no interface at all. Just a blank Pandora screen. So I have to close it and reopen it. Is this a know issue and is there a way to fix this as well?
