SSO issue accessing Community after password change

frag_68
Opening Act

I've tested this in both Chrome and Edge and using InPrivate as well.  I changed my password recently and now, if I click my profile circle in the top right and choose "Community" whilst on the www subdomain (rather than help. or community.) I get the error:  {"message":"auth token has been invalidated","errorCode":1001,"errorString":"INVALID_REQUEST"}

I'm having this same problem, though I haven't changed my password since September 2023.  That said, I rarely access Pandora vie my PC browser.

@BrianKDav I was unable to reproduce this issue on your account.

Try clearing your browser's cache and history, then restart the browser you are using when that error message appears.

If that errror message continues to appear, can you please send me a screenshot of it?

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)

Thanks for working with me on this.

Thank you for the quick reply!  I followed your instructions but got the same result (shown below).  I may be a special case - as we have two Pandora accounts.  One for the house and one for me when I'm out driving (or more often walking these days).  This was my solution to Pandora disabling all devices when my wife was listening to it on one device and I was listening on another at the same time.

When I'm signed on to the other account the community button works.  So after thrashing about, I'm guessing that that's the account to which my community membership is bound.

Here's the question I probably should have asked a long time ago:  Can we set Pandora up so two people on the same account can listen at the same time on different devices?

Here's the screen capture, in case it's still needed:

Hi @BrianKDav ,

Yes, your Pandora account is linked to your Community Profile. If you'd like you can create a second community profile using the second Pandora account.

An regarding your question about streaming from two devices at the same time, you can sign into the same Pandora account on any computer or supported device, as long as you use the same email address and Pandora password.
However, you won't be able to listen to that same Pandora account on multiple devices at the same time. At this moment, the only way to stream across your devices simultaneously is to create an account for each device or location you want to stream at the same time, just as you mentioned to have done with the account to listen at your house and the other to listen while driving or walking.

Unlike broadcast radio, which all drivers hear in the car at the same time, each internet-connected device used to access Pandora receives its own unique stream of personalized music. Similar to other online streaming services, our music licenses limit our ability to stream from a single account on more than one device at a time. As a result, your subscription to Pandora Plus, or any other of our subscriptions (Pandora Premium, or Pandora Premium Family) will only cover the cost of one stream to one device per Pandora account.

If you'd like us to implement an option for simultaneous streaming you can upvote this thread with a ❤️: Ideas: Listening to more than one device at the same time.

Let me know if you have any further questions!
