Since about a week ago, when I start my Pandora desktop app but hear no songs. It appears connected because the "My Station" sound icon is moving. However, Windows 11 does not list the app as an output device (System>Sound>Volume Mixer). The workaround is to change to another station. Then, the connection to the speaker links up, the app appears in the Volume Mixer output app list, and I hear music.

Hi @SEBlake! Thanks for posting to community.
I moved your message over to our Desktop board to help keep things organized.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble on your Windows 11. I've enabled a trace on your account to help investigate. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.
First, try resetting the Pandora app from the Help menu (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you). Press Alt on your keyboard to bring up a menu options at the top of the page, then select Help and Reset App Data.
If you're still having issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling using the following steps:
Please note: That downloading any application on your devices requires a Microsoft account and password, and it may be a different email address and password than those on your Pandora account.
Also, we do not support Pandora on unofficial OS releases, like preview or developer builds. We only support Pandora on configurations that we have fully tested, so as to ensure the application will work correctly and not cause any problems with functions of the device.
Let me know how it goes.

[lost some edits in my previous posting] Since my post 02/03/2022, I have regularly installed the Windows 11 updates. The issue of the app playing but with no audio, because it is not recognized as an output device in Windows 11, has changed. Now, after the app starts, I must press the play button or select a start option from the context menu to begin playback and the audio engages as well, which was my workaround for the original problem. So if this is the intended design for the app, I can accept that behavior, although I would prefer the app begin playing at startup without my intervention. Thank you.
Hi, @SEBlake. 👋
Thanks so much for the follow up, and for clarifying.
Based on your message, it sounds like you'd prefer to have the Pandora app play music as soon as it's launched while using the desktop app. At this time, automatic play is only available when using a web browser by default (and cannot be changed). This isn't currently a feature of the desktop app and is intended behavior.
If you'd like to see this option available on the desktop app, feel free to create a feature request here.
