why doesn't www.pandora.com/directv. allow me to enter my code to use direct tv? It says page not found

Hi @Philos sorry for any trouble - would you mind trying again with the following steps?

  1. Launch Pandora on DirecTV (Menu > Extras > Pandora).
  2. At the Welcome screen, select Next.
  3. An activation screen will appear on screen with an activation code. Do not leave this screen until the following steps are completed.
  4. From a web browser on a computer, click here: www.pandora.com/directv.
  5. Enter the activation code.
  6. Either enter new Pandora account information or use an existing Pandora username and password.
  7. Once the web page shows a confirmation, the DirecTV device will automatically take you to your station list.

Let me know how it goes.

  • What is the make and model?
  • What happens when you open Pandora?
  • Is there an error message (if yes, what exactly does it say)?

What code are you referring to? Can you do me a favor and please take a photo for me to share?

If you're referring to the device code, it's to help Pandora and DirecTV talk to each other to associate your account with DirecTV.

Hi @MELINA13! Thanks for posting. 

I checked your account and I do see that you were able to successful connect your DirecTV to your Pandora account. 

Let's try some troubleshooting to see if it will help. 

Please try a few standard network troubleshooting steps:

  1. Try connecting directly via an ethernet cable rather than wirelessly (if you have this option on your device), and see if that helps.
  2. Try rebooting your modem and router and restarting the device.
  3. Try removing and re-adding the app (if this is possible on your device).

You may also want to contact DirecTV to inquire about whether there is a firmware update available for your device.

Hi @Ni10gal!

You can use the following steps to activate your in-home device:

  • Launch the Pandora application.
  • Select New User.
  • An activation page will appear with a code - leave this code up on the device screen as you continue.

From the web, visit www.pandora.com/[brand of device] and enter the activation code there (e.g. www.pandora.com/samsung).

Or, from a mobile device, open the Pandora app and go to Settings, then tap Device Activation and enter the code.

Finally, select Continue on the in-home device.

  1. Are you having trouble getting Pandora to play through DirecTV?
  2. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?

I have a paid subscription to get unlimited skips but it only allows 6 skips an hour on my directv app?

Hi @rayculler! Thanks for posting.

Individual manufacturers are usually responsible for the implementation of the Pandora application, so some devices may lack Pandora Plus' features.

At this time, increased skips and replays are currently only available on the devices listed here.
