This is happening to me. What do you mean by "each member of your family will need to beloved into their devices using their own personal Pandora accounts?" Can't they log into the family plan account from their own device? I'm totally confused. Thanks in advance.
@liliatsea I moved your post over to this existing thread: Family Plan: "Someone Else is Listening" Message
Unfortunately, we do not provide phone support however I am happy to provide a response here.
If that error message is appearing, then that means the both of you are still logged into the same account on each of your devices.
The both of you will need to sign out of Pandora on your devices, and then sign back in using your respective email addresses.
Let me know if you continue to run into issues with this after signing out and back in to your personal accounts.
Noted
HomePod reports- someone else is listening- NOT -
many of us have more than one device a phone an iPad HomePods
this is a pretty typical use case for people that use Apple devices
Functionally it makes me unable to use Pandora because I don’t appreciate having to log out of all of my devices to login to my HomePods
If I want a listing library that is connected for instance at home HomePod use - hey Siri play everywhere -
And have your HomePods start playing? They will shortly thereafter just stop!!!
In this typical use case the next action is choose Spotify instead of Pandora
a while back I had a family plan with Pandora and even using the family plan your solution to add multiple users one for the HomePod and one for the Apple iPhone, and iPad creates three users for one person, not functional and not appreciated
I’ve been a subscriber for a couple years. I still have to keep looking because this don’t work
