I have a habit of going to sleep with some calming music… This happened out of nowhere but when i go on pandora, and set my sleep timer and my music, it turns off!! I am so confused because the song can play once and it turns off randomly. Mind you, my phone is turned off, music is playing, and boom… it turns off! I got to go back to the app and it restarts the songs and it either happens again or doesn’t. I don’t know, I just want to know what’s going on. I am going insane haha.

@agUSER I moved your post over to the iOS space.
Could you explain what's happening in more detail? The more information you can provide, the better I can help.
To clarify, does the music only step when your sleep timer is on? Or does the music stop after one song plays regardless of whether or not your sleep timer is on?
Additionally, when this issue occurs:
- Is the app still open in the background where you're able to press play and resume music or do you need to close and relaunch the app to continue listening?
- Are you listening to a station, album, playlist, or podcast?
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data? If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off?
- Are you using a Bluetooth connection?
Additionally, please provide both your iOS and Pandora app versions:
- iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
- Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
Thanks for your help!

To clarify, it happens regardless whether I have a timer or not. The app is still in the background, which is why i’m worried; I have to unlock my phone and go back on Pandora. I listen to music on my playlists and I use Wifi. I am also able recover the listening station; I also rarely use a bluetooth connection.

Hi @agUSER, thanks for explaining!
Please check the troubleshooting steps described here and please restart your iPhone after that.
If you continue to have problems after restarting the phone, I would like to report this to our report this issue to our engineers. So, could you tell me more about your device?
- Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone X, iPad Air (3rd gen), etc.)
- Carrier:
- iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
- Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?
Thanks for your help with this.
