On an iOS device: If Pandora was the last music source that was playing before you exited your vehicle, it will automatically resume when you re-enter the car. You'd need to kill the app before entering your vehicle.  However, if this isn't what seems to be happening with Pandora, then let's try running through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can find a solution. You may have already tried some (or all) of these steps before, but it often helps to run through them in this order: First, please try disabling the Siri Suggested Apps feature on your iPhone to see if that helps. To do this, begin by swiping down from the top of of your phone. This will reveal a navigable menu. Next, swipe from left to right to show the Widgets screen and tap the Edit button to make changes. Under Add Widgets tap the red minus sign to remove Siri App Suggestions, and select Done. Finally, I'd recommend restarting both your phone and the car. If you're still having the same issue at that point, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Pandora app using the following method (not to worry, we'll keep track of your stations and profile): Hold down the Pandora icon on your Home screen until all the icons start "shaking." Then tap the tiny X that appears in the upper left of the Pandora icon, and confirm that you want to delete the app. Then re-install Pandora via the App Store on the device. ++ On an Android device: Can you ensure that you have the Launch from car setting disabled on your Android phone? To do that: Open Pandora. Open the Profile tab and tap the Settings gear in the top right corner. Select Advanced. It sounds like you might have run into an issue adding variety to your stations.  Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device? If you are on a computer, are you listening from: A Mac or Windows computer? Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using? Let me know.  ++ In the meantime, if you're on a mobile device, you should be able to use the following steps to add variety to your station(s). Keep in mind, you won't be able to add variety to a genre station as these work a little differently that your other station.  To add variety to a station: 1. From My Collection, visit your station list. 2. Tap on the name of the station you'd like to edit.  If you're a free listener or Pandora Plus subscriber, this will start your station, so tap either the Thumb or small "i" icon in the upper right corner of your screen to continue to the station's backstage page. 3. From the station's backstage page, tap on the Edit icon (the small pencil to the left of the play icon) to edit your station, and scroll down to Station Created From. 4. Use the + Add Variety button to search for an artist or track to add as a seed on your station. Keep in mind that each seed you add will inspire hundreds of other songs, so a little variety goes a long way. To sum it up, due to our licensing, downloading or stream-ripping is not permitted. Depending on our subscription, any tracks downloaded will continue to live within the Pandora app, but you may listen to them offline with an Android or iOS device. Pandora Premium allows subscribers to take individual songs, albums, or stations offline for listening within the Pandora app. However, it's not possible to transfer your Pandora music collection to an external music library. If you're outside of our app, or you're accessing Pandora from our website or another type of device (such as a computer), you won't be able to view those downloads.
