Hi @Mami71  Welcome to the Community! Thanks for posting, I completely understand your frustration. Having to manually type an email address and password using a TV remote can definitely be tedious. At the moment, Pandora doesn’t support signing into a TV directly through your phone or using a one-time code on all TV devices. Some TVs or streaming devices may offer an activation code, but this option isn’t available across every platform. Are you experiencing this on a specific device, such as a Roku? In the meantime, I’ve shared your feedback with our product team for consideration in future improvements. I agree this would make signing in much easier. Thanks for the follow up, @zephyr7732.  I don’t currently see a DirecTV device connected to your Pandora account, which is why I asked about it. It’s possible the DirecTV box may have become disconnected from your account. I do see an Android TV connected, and it looks like it was used recently. I’m not sure if this is a different TV than the one you’re having trouble with on DirecTV. For the DirecTV issue, I can reset the device connections on your account. Since DirecTV isn’t showing as connected, this may help refresh things. Please note that doing this will sign you out of Pandora on all devices, so you’ll need to log back in on each device you use afterward. Let me know if you'd like to give this a try.  ... View more

(Also really enjoy your username 😊) I had a quick clarifying questions about what you’re experiencing: When this happens, is Pandora already open in the background on your phone? For example, had you been listening earlier that day, Or does this happen even if it’s been a while since you last used Pandora? Also, when first connecting to Bluetooth, does Pandora start playing while another streaming service is already in use? For a bit of context, on both Android and iPhone devices, this behavior can be expected when connecting to standard Bluetooth accessories like car systems or headphones. The phone’s operating system will often try to resume the most recent audio/media session, which can cause the last streaming app used to reopen and begin playback. This is intended to help listeners quickly get back to what they were previously listening to, especially in hands-free situations like driving. You may notice similar behavior with other apps as well. I’ve personally seen this happen with services like Netflix and Apple Music when connecting to a Bluetooth speaker, where the last used app suddenly resumes playback. That said, Pandora shouldn’t launch if it was fully closed (not in the background) and hasn’t been used recently, and it also shouldn’t interrupt another service that’s already actively playing. I just wanted to confirm: is your TV connected to a DirecTV box? If so, do you have the option to uninstall the Pandora app from the DirecTV box itself? Hi @zephyr7732  Welcome to community! I had a chance to check out your account. I wanted to first confirm that Pandora is on DirecTV. Looking at your account, I only see recent connection with an Android TV. But I'm not sure if any troubleshooting steps may have been performed before your post.  Also, could you please share a picture of what you're seeing when you're playing Pandora and the formatting has changed. Hi @Missthing20  Welcome to community!  To clarify, Pandora will interrupt your stream with Audible and begin playing when connecting to your vehicle? Could you confirm if Pandora was playing before listening to Audible or in the background? Do you only connect your mobile through Bluetooth or do you connected to Android Auto? In the meantime, let's try disabling the Launch from Car feature to see if it help. I’m happy to take a look.  Just to clarify first, Pandora doesn’t offer phone support, so the number you’re using isn’t affiliated with us. Can you tell me a bit more about your setup? What’s the make and model of your TV? In the meantime, I’ve checked your Pandora account and don’t see a previous DirecTV connection. Is this a new set up? I do see a Roku and an Android TV listed. If you've been using Pandora recently, could the app be directly found on your Android TV? To help me investigate more, could you share a photo of what you’re seeing on your TV? Hi @TonyC_714  Welcome to community! That’s definitely a strange one experience, especially since the bass sounds normal on every other device in the same setup. Since this is isolated to Xbox, let's start by having a fresh connection with Pandora.  Please try uninstalling the Pandora app from your Xbox, restarting the console, then reinstalling the app and testing again. Hey @lindagig  I moved your messages into a new thread to help keep things organized, since the other post is tied to a separate experience that our engineering team is currently investigating. I completely understand how frustrating this experience can be. At the moment, there isn’t a way to disable Offline Mode when your mobile connection drops. Offline Mode is designed to keep the music playing when a connection is lost, but I understand it’s not ideal that there isn’t any indication when your connection has been re-established. The only way to avoid an automatic switch to an offline station would be to manually toggle into Offline Mode ahead of time. That way, you can listen uninterrupted during your journey, though you would still need to manually switch back to Online Mode once you’re ready. In the meantime, I’ve noted your feedback around the offline experience and will be sure to share it with the appropriate team.
