Thanks for getting back to me, @mick05334. It sounds like your Samsung Tablet is using an older Android OS version that is no longer supported. This may explain why your experiencing this issue on that particular device. On Android devices, the current version of Pandora requires Marshmallow 6.0 or higher. If you are running an Android OS version older than Marshmallow 6.0, you will need to update your device's operating system. For some Android devices, you can update by going to Settings > General > About device > Software updates > Check for update. Let me know if you're able to do this.

Hey, @BradAcornley. 👋 I moved your post over to the Android board to keep the community tidy. It sounds like you're experiencing something similar to the issue in this thread. If you haven't already, could you try please updating the Pandora app on your device to 1912.1? Open the Google Play Store app. Touch the menu icon in the upper left and select My apps & games. Apps with available updates are labeled Update. Choose any appropriate apps and tap Update. *In some cases, you may need to restart your device to update an app.* Let me know if this helps!

Hey, @mick05334. 👋 Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. Please keep in mind, Pandora accounts follow the email address, not the device or phone number. You can sign into the same Pandora account on any computer or supported device, as long as you use the same email address and Pandora password. This applies to both free and paid Pandora accounts. It sounds like you're logged into the correct Pandora account on both of your devices. I would recommend running through these steps to see if it helps with the issue you're experiencing. Hey, @wslemail. 👋 Sorry to hear about your Thumbprint Radio station. Could you send over a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing when you attempt to play that station? ++ To take a screenshot on your Android device, press the Home button and the Power button (on the right side of your phone) at the same time. You may hear a camera shutter sound (if your volume is turned on), and your screen will be captured. To access your screenshots, go to the Gallery and look in the Screenshots folder. Add this photo as an attachment to your next post. 📲

Hey, @Tracy27. 👋 It sounds like you may be using another app that requires sound. Unfortunately, the sound settings of each app are set by the needs of the app and cannot be altered. If you are playing a game or using an app that requires sound, the audio from Pandora may pause. It's not possible for us to override the sound settings, or any other functions of another app. ++ If you don't think this is what's happening, could you provide more information about your device? Could you tell me more about your device? Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone 5c, iPod 6th gen, iPad Air2, etc.) Carrier: iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version) Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen) Are you connected to Wi-Fi or 3G/4G (cellular data) when this is happening? Hey, @daleslad. 👋 You can definitely share your tunes with your wife so she can access them from her own Pandora account under your family plan. Sharing Tunes: To share a song, station, album, playlist or podcast by searching for it (even if it's already a part of your collection). Tap the name of the song/station/album/playlist/podcast* and tap Share. From here you'll be able to share your content either through your messages, through social media channels like Snapchat, Instagram Stories or via email. You can also select Copy Link for a direct link to the content you've selected. If you don't see a social media option you'd like to use, make sure that you have the social media app downloaded to your device. Happy sharing! 🎶

At this time, there isn't a way to delete your listening history - which includes all thumb feedback, stations, playlists - without completely deleting your account. I'm happy to provide some tips to better tune your stations going forward, so you can keep the music you love playing on your stations without needing to start over again. Hey, @deechefboyar. 👋 At this time Pandora Modes are only available on our website and mobile devices. With Pandora Modes, you can take your stations in a variety of directions*. My Station: The station you already know and love Crowd Faves: Plays whichever relevant songs are the most popular Discovery: Surfaces artists who don’t usually play on this station Deep Cuts: Delve deeper into the discographies of the artists on your station Newly Released: The newest releases from the artists featured on your station Artist Only: Only songs from the artist headlining your station. (Please note: You may hear songs from other artists if you have added variety to a station.) Keep in mind that since licensing regulations require a Pandora Premium subscription in order to be able to listen to your station in "Artist Only" mode, free listeners and Pandora Plus subscribers will be able to view an advertisement in order to initiate a complimentary Premium Access session. Those that do will also have access to Pandora Premium's other features during their Premium Access session. Whatever Mode you choose, make sure you continue to use your Thumbs. Thumbs will continue to influence your station regardless of what Mode you're listening in. So giving a Thumbs Up in Newly Released Mode will tell My Station to play more new music for you. As always, you have the ability to edit any unwanted Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down in your station details. Please note, not all Pandora Modes will be available on every station.*

If you're still having issues, please provide a bit more info: What is the make and model of your device? Also, could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? When you background the app, does it just stop playing? Are there any error messages? If so, what exactly does it say? Let me know.

Hey, @PyroEagle96. 👋 Could you try re-pairing the Bluetooth connection between your device and the phone? To remove the pairing, please go into the Bluetooth settings menu on your phone, find the appropriate connection, and select "Forget this device." Once you've done so, refer to the owner's manual for your device for how to reconnect to your phone. 📲 Let me know if this helps.

Hey, @johnneglia. 👋 You should be able to use the following keyboard shortcuts to control playback on the Pandora desktop app: Play/ Pause: Space Skip Forward: Ctrl→ Skip Backward: Ctrl← Shuffle: Ctrl S Repeat: Ctrl G Thumb Up: ⇧Ctrl↑ Thumb Down: ⇧Ctrl↓ If you have media keys on your PC, you can also use those. Please note that certain options may be greyed out if you are playing a source that does not support that command (e.g., you will not be able to Thumb on most playlists). ++ You can also try running through these steps to utilize the shuffle feature here. If you're still unable use any of the keyboard shortcuts, or shuffle at all, I would recommend running through the troubleshooting steps for your desktop app. Hope this information is helpful. Here's a screenshot of where you can locate them: If you're unable to locate the buttons (to play, pause, skip, or thumb) within your Chrome web browser, I would recommend trying out these steps. Let me know how it goes.
