Hi everyone! There are definitely two songs I listen to frequently during difficult times in my life. The reason I listen to these songs is because they come from a movie called Trainspotting, one of my favorites, where the protagonist deals with one of the most difficult battles a human being can face. I can't say much about it here, but it's a movie I definitely recommend. These are the songs that help me overcome obstacles and learn from them. @Suerob8755 It looks like your original station was created from an artist named Easy Listening. The album art associated with that station is associated with one of the albums that artist has released (the sailboats you mentioned). I recommend removing that station from your collection if it is no longer playing the type of music you want to hear. Our curated genre station for Easy Listening that @Trevor1 shared would be a good place to start if you are looking for a station that plays that style of music. You can also start fresh with a new station based off of one of your favorite tracks that you'd like your Easy Listening station to emulate. I hope this helps!

Hi @Bellfire05 , I agree, in general the songs that always on repeat can get your nerves. I may sound a bit like the Grinch but in general that's what happens with me and Christmas songs around this time of year, specially Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas is you and any version of Jingle Bells. @inttsa , I get you. I actually liked the song the first time I heard it but then it was everywhere and now I can't stand it.

Hey, I hope I'm in the right place for this. I would love to talk to some folks about music of any kind. I especially love Jazz and the two I mentioned in the title. I'm a huge music fan but there is something about obscure music from 1968-1973 that real does it for me. I love finding out that bands I now love were actually the roots of bands I've listen to in the past. We can talk about anything from arrangements, album covers, to the artists themselves. Did you know Blue Oyster Cult was once Soft White Underbelly or that Kenny Rogers once did a psychedelic song? Maybe there is some stuff you can tell me that I didn't know.

Hey, thank you I appreciate this. I, myself like mostly the older types of music; however, I fancy myself as an eclectic so I'm open to new artists and new arrangements. It gives me lots to talk about when I mix in the new with the old.

Hey, I read an article NPR put online. (I tried to find the answer online because I've never heard them.) I'm not much on keeping up with all the artists but I listen to most genres. The article stated, while the band is very popular the sound became or was already outdated. It's sounds alot like what happened with the BeeGees. They had a great sound but were tied in with a genre that alot of people were just plain sick of which was disco. People felt Disco was so radio greedy that it knocked all the other types of music off the air. Everywhere and everything was all Disco all the time and other genres didn't get their fair share of play. The Disco comparison was mine exclusively and I power-phrased the NPR article. Just type in why Nickelback is so hated and you should be able to pull up the article.

I'm an eclectic and pride myself on being able to listen just about anything. (That doesn't mean I love everything but I can tolerate a lot of different genres. I love talking about music and if you do too then share some types you love or don't love. You can even private message me. I'm just looking for folk to share thoughts with and think it will be a blast.
