Hi @MOHLovesAlaska , I really enjoyed these songs! Specially after reading the interpretation. I really loved Foolish Games, and Jewel's voice was beautiful too! Also Wild by John Legend, was really nice. Actually this last one I think I heard it before because I do remember hearing some of the songs from that album, but it was a long time ago. But the one that I loved the most was Goodbye Mr. Blue. I almost cried, it was really moving and I also thought that it was sad, and sometimes difficult to manage, the way sometimes you have to say goodbye to multiple things, people and beloved furry friends at the same time, but life goes on and you have to carry on. I also think it really shows the grief it means to see something you love, let it be someone, a relationship, etc. slowly fade away. Actually this song reminded me of a song my dad used to play when I was little about a street dog and the loss it was for the whole community when it passed away. It is a song in Spanish named Callejero, by Alberto Cortez. I was raised in a multilingual household, but think that even if you can't understand Spanish you can feel the love and the grief on this song and it is something I really love about it. ... Hi @MOHLovesAlaska ! I agree, it is very difficult to accept when you make a mistake, although I think sometimes this difficulty can also come from shame instead of pride. It really requires courage to try to make amends and sometimes is a continuous effort but is always the best. I also like your poem, I'm not really very poetry-inclined (or talented in this area) but writing letters or maybe a painting/picture or actually any personal detail made by you can help express your feelings and get someone's attention. I don't really think I have heard the songs you mentioned here but your interpretation really makes me want to listen them, specially the one you started this thread with: Foolish Games. Hi @mgstauff , thanks for posting. I checked the song you mentioned and it looks like we have a couple versions of the song. It looks like the cut off song that you are listening belongs to the album Cape Town Revisited , launched in the 2000's. This version is 3:56 while the original song from the Cape Town Flowers album from 1997 is 4:22, so that seems to be the complete version.
