I understand that it's frustrating not to hear songs that you've thumbed up on a station, but there's no way to control when or how often particular songs will play on free Pandora or Pandora Plus, so it's not possible to create a station and hear that track play right away (though it could happen by chance). Because of our licenses, we have to limit the predictability of a certain song or artist from playing on those services. So although certain tracks may play when streaming Pandora on your phone, there is no way to tell when or if those tracks will play when streaming on your Roku device. That said, for complete control of what you hear on Pandora, try Pandora Premium. It combines our industry leading internet radio service with on-demand listening and easy playlist generation. Alternatively, you can start a complimentary session simply by searching our library for a song or album, and clicking play. Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device? If you are on a computer, are you listening from: A Mac or Windows computer? Our website, or the desktop app? @jbmunger We don't alter music equalization on Pandora from how it appears on the original releases, unlike terrestrial radio, which compresses the entire broadcast. As a result, some songs sound louder than others. However, we do use the Replay Gain technique that encodes a fixed volume adjustment into the mp3/mp4 header so that the actual player (web browser, phone or device) can adjust volume just as the track begins playing. If there are vast differences, it could also be due to different instrumentation or arrangements causing different apparent levels of volume where the actual decibel levels are the same. The ability to create playlists is only an option with Pandora Premium. This being said, I do see you initiated a free session of Pandora Premium by watching an ad. Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? To clarify, were playlists still not saving while you were on your free session of Pandora Premium? Is this only happening when creating new playlists on your iPhone? Are you able to successfully create new playlists when logging into your account on a computer? Is there an error message?
