I've bought a new phone and cast on pandora to sonos is missing...
My tv is available but no sonos... It was available on my old phone
mod edit: changed title for clarity
Just upgraded to a new phone and still have the same problem.
Model: Samsung Galaxy S22+ (SM-S906U)
Carrier: Verizon
Android version (Settings > About Phone): 12
Pandora version (Go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number): 2204.1 (ANDROID-TUNER 22041003)
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening? WIFI
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information? This appears to be an ANDROID related issue. I have an Apple iPad where casting from the Pandora app to Sonos speakers work w/o any issues.
I realize the engineers have not been able to reproduce this issue as mentioned in another post, however, would it be possible to capture any type of debugging information from within the Pandora application and send it in for analysis?
Same here, I'm a software QA engineer and I'm moderately familiar with Android. Let me know what kind of diagnostic data I can provide you and I'll be happy to get it to you. Also, what Sonos model are your engineers using to reproduce the problem? I'm on a Sonos Beam Gen 2 which requires the Sonos S2 app to connect, and since Pandora keeps prompting me to download the incompatible S1 app, I think that might be part of the problem.
I have the same issue.
My Google Pixel 6 Pro and my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 can see a Google Nest device, but cannot see any element of my Sonos S2 system working on the same network - 8 speakers of various models. I have completely replaced my router and wifi network and I still have the same issue. I have also reset my Sonos system and I have the same issue.
It does work from my iPhone on the same network.
Spotify on either Android device handles casting like a champ. This is isolated to Pandora on Android. I've had this problem for the past 10 months. It is frustrating. I prefer Pandora Premium because it has a decent radio function, but I listen to Spotify just because it is easier.
