Puzzling problem. I have two properties. Both have Google mesh Wi-Fi networks and Sonos speakers all over, each with it's own Google and Sonos accounts. I have a Motorola G6 Android phone with the latest Sonos and Pandora app versions. For each property, both my phone and the Sonos system are on the SAME Wi-Fi network. So the apps are up to date and on the same network in each of the properties. In one house, using the Pandora app, the casting icon shows in the bottom right hand corner of the now playing screen. Tapping the icon shows the available Sonos speakers as expected. In the second property, however, the casting icon doesn't show at all, so I'm unable to cast anything from my phone to any speaker. I tried Spotify and I am able to cast on any speaker at each property without problems. Other people with iPhones using Spotify have no problems. I am both the network and Sonos Administrator for both properties and I have nothing special configured that I believe would prevent only MY Android phone running the Pandora app in the second property to not show the icon. So I am suspecting the problem is with Pandora. Again, Spotify works perfectly in both places. Any ideas?
Same issue, unable to cast to sonos using android.
Hi, @BGthree @tdailey11. 👋
Thank you for posting about this and for your patience while we navigate this issue. We've passed along your feedback and device details to our tech team. 🎧
Pandora cast icon was working perfectly when I had Xfinity internet service. I switched to Quantum Fiber internet service and now there is no icon. What to do?
Hey, @kbarsa. 👋
Sorry to hear that you're casting option is missing.
If you're attempting to cast to your Sonos speakers, I would recommend streaming through the Sonos app instead.
The moderation team has shared this issue with our tech team for further investigation. In the meantime, I've shared your feedback and experience. Thank you for your patience while we navigate this issue. 🎧
Hi,
We Cast through the Sonos App 95% of the time.
However our experience is that some music is not found through the Sonos
app. When that happens, at least in the past, we will cast from the pandora
app.
I do not know if the root cause of the Sonos and Pandora exposed music
differences are on the Pandora or Sonos side..don't really care if there is
a way to get there

Finally! Thank you for taking this seriously and actually getting it fixed!
I can cast to my Sonos Play 5 stereo pair directly from the Pandora app again!

The only glitch so far: the volume buttons on the phone, don't adjust the volume on the Sonos speakers, like they do in the Sonos app. You have to click on the cast button and adjust the slider manually.
Same problem. Where is the solution?
Hi there, @fuzzydavis. 👋
Thanks for reporting your experience.
Could you try updating the Pandora app and let me know if you continue to have trouble?
Here's how to update the Pandora app on your Android device:
Tip: In some cases, you may need to restart your device to update an app.
Alyssa.
Thank you for fixing this! With the latest update I see all my Sonos speakers as well as my Chromecast audio device and can cast to them directly. I can do it at both my locations! Thank you again.
Thank you for letting us know about the issue and for your patience, @Flanda.
Glad to hear everything is working in both locations now. Happy listening! 🎶
What was the fix? I just uninstalled both the Sonos and Pandora apps (to be safe).
Also deauthorized and reauthorized Pandora on Sonos.
My Cast icon in the Pandora app is still missing. Did you have to do something to make this work?
Hi there, @WillowDweller. 👋
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the cast option. It sounds like you may have tried a couple of these already but I'll include them in case other listeners have similar issues after your post.

Pandora cast button is not always on the screen.
Both device and Sonos on the same network.

Hello - hoping for some help here.
I really want to move from Spotify to Pandora for my paid music, but I run all Sonos speakers in my home. When playing music on the Pandora app, the cast icon only picks up my TV, and none of the 7 Sonos speakers in the home. Spotify sees them all, with no issue. I can play Pandora through my Sonos app, but the Pandora there is not as functional as the Pandora app.
So I am not given the basics: I run Play:One speakers, and a Play Soundbar. They have updated firmware. My apps are all updated. I am on the same WiFi network as the speakers.
Please help me choose Pandora!
