Has anyone else had a problem with Pandora voice starting on its own? I'll be listening to something and all of a sudden, there it is.

Hi @Sjb Thanks for posting to community!

Happy to take a look and try some troubleshooting with you.

Can you let me know the make and model of your device. Also, I'll need the Pandora version you're currently running. Let me know if you need help with where this is located.

Thanks for the info @Sjb!

Let's first check to see if any update is available for Pandora:

Here's how to update the Pandora app on your Android device:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Touch the menu icon in the upper left and select My Apps.
  3. Apps with available updates are labeled Update.
  4. Choose any appropriate apps and tap Update.

Tip: In some cases, you may need to restart your device to update an app.

++

After updating, let's clear the app data. Here's how to do that:

  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Tap Apps
  3. Scroll down to find Pandora
  4. Select Storage
  5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data.

*Keep in mind that the steps for each Android device is slightly different. If you have a Pixel, you can find helpful steps here.

You'll be asked to log into your account after completing these steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Must be scary lol. All I can imagine is me laying down in bed and turning my lamp off (I have a very dark studio) and all I hear is a random voice. Spooky-

@Gurdy6 I'd be happy to help with any questions you have, but I will need additional information to do so.

Can you explain your issue a bit further? The more details you're able to provide, the better equipped I'll be to help.

I look forward to hearing back.
