In my case, when I do routine or common activities at work, I like to listen to metal music to increase my energy, European bands like Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir and Eluveitie are the most listened to in my repertoire.
When I do activities that require a little more of my concentration, I like to listen to more relaxed music, like Chet Faker or Tame Impala.
And finally when I study languages, like German or Japanese, I like to listen to music from those respective languages โโto improve my listening.

To work, I usually listen to pop and a bit of hip hop-rap music and for studying I usually listen more to metal. I may also listen to metal while working but I cannot listen hip-hop or pop while studying, not sure why but those two don't work for me when studying
In general I think I would say I listen more to dance-able or with a more prominent beat so I tend to listen more to things like: my high school pop, Qveen Herby Radio , Calle 13, or All my kpop favs.
And for studying I need a fast paced and energetic beat so usually I listen to different metal sub-genres, depending a bit more on the mood or what I need to do. So my go to's usually are: The Agonist Radio, System Of A Down Radio, or Sonata Arctica Radio.

I like to listen calm music (mostly piano covers) for both studying and working. I like albums such as Lord of the Rings For Sleep, The Legend of Zelda - Piano Collection and Harry Potter Piano.

For working, Vivaldi/Bach for a smooth start and once I get on the pace, I switch to Melodic Power Metal (which is the same with distortion).
For studying, I do some dark and garage blues.

This depends on my mood. For a smooth but upbeat vibe, I like Beach Bar Chill Radio.
For a dreamy lo-fi pop kind of day, my go-to is Vacations Radio. I discovered this group after they were featured on Pandora's Artists To Watch in 2024.
My favorite type of music is probably a fusion of electronic, jazz, soul, and R&B, I really like FKJ Radio for this.

Best music for concentrating when working on difficult subject matter (or even relaxing) is classical piano, violin or other soothing instruments that trigger specific parts of your brain.

I am more into upbeat music. This can go from pop, rock, or even some reggaeton.
Sometimes I just Shuffle all my stations to get a little bit of everything.
But my personal favorite now is Upbeat Instrumental Radio, perfect for staying focused.

I know it's not for everyone, but I found a great Pandora station called Instrumental Metal for Focus that you might like - no singing or lyrics just shredding instrumental metal. https://pandora.app.link/rDvhLA5IaRb
