Hi everyone! On this day in 1977, Gerard Way, best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the band My Chemical Romance, was born. I really enjoyed listening to that band when I was in high school and continue to enjoy it today. I think I've only listened to their most popular songs, but I'm sharing my favorites with you. Enjoy! 🖤 Helena Welcome To The Black Parade I'm Not Okay (I Promise) Teenagers I Don't Love You

Hi everyone! I can create playlists for the most random reasons, however, playlists based on my mood are the ones I create most. I like to combine many genres in a single playlist and I like to create them like: 🎶To do chores. 🎶Songs to listen to on a cloudy day. 🎶Pre-game before going to a party. 🎶Songs discovered in series, anime, or movies. Etc..

Hi everyone! Have you ever watched the TV show: Drake and Josh? When I was a teenager I loved that show, it makes me laugh a lot, anyway, do you remember Mindy Crenshaw, Josh's rival? Well, she currently has a French gothic pop/rock band called La Femme Pendu 🌹 Mindy was my crush when I was a teenager and now knowing this curious news and listening to her music, I think she's now my crush as an adult 🖤

Hi @AngelaMCmusic 🎖Trainspotting. The soundtrack features Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, New Order, Underworld, Leftfield, Primal Scream, Pulp, Blur, Elastica, and Sleeper. It's a great snapshot of the music scene in Britain at the time, with some older classics thrown into the mix 🥈 Guardians of the Galaxy. Especially the Vol. 2. 🥉Kill Bill 💛

Hi everyone. The title of the post says it all. In my case, lately when I've been shopping for groceries at a certain famous supermarket, for some reason, they always play the song Lento by Julieta Venegas as background music. 😂 I already liked that song, but thanks to them, I've been listening to it a lot lately. What songs can't you get out of your head, and how did you come across it?

Hi everyone! On this day in 1977, Fleetwood Mac's album Rumours reached number 1 in the US and became one of the best-selling albums in the history of rock in the 1970s. I haven't listened to much Fleetwood Mac, but oddly enough, I think the only songs I've heard from them (and enjoyed) are from this album. Those songs are: The Chain Go Your Own Way Dreams

Hi @MOHLovesAlaska thanks for your words, I also enjoy reading your posts and comments, the fact about octopuses seemed quite interesting to me, I didn't know about it 😲 What I did know is that octopuses are very intelligent. Did you know that some scientists think that if humans didn't exist, octopuses would be excellent candidates to be the dominant species on Earth? 🐙 One of the most famous opinions is that of Tim Coulson, a professor at Oxford University. He says that some species of birds and insects are capable of building communal dwellings with a structure similar to that of human communities, but lack the fine motor skills necessary to create a civilization. Octopuses, on the other hand, are well adapted to unpredictable changes. "Their advanced cognition, tool use, and ability to adapt to changing environments are a model of what could be the next intelligent species on the planet after humans." I hope you enjoyed the previous information my dear friend and everyone else who is reading the comments on this post 😁 Sources: https://nypost.com/2024/11/15/science/this-captivating-sea-creature-could-dominate-earth-if-humans-become-extinct-expert/ https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/science/could-octopuses-take-over-earth-if-humans-go-extinct/articleshow/115383469.cms

Hi everyone! Did you know that bananas emit antimatter? 🍌😯 It sounds like science fiction, but it's 100% real. Bananas are rich in potassium, and a small fraction of that potassium is potassium-40, a radioactive isotope that, on rare occasions, decays, emitting... a positron! Yes, a tiny piece of antimatter that, upon encountering an electron, instantly annihilates, releasing a flash of energy in the form of gamma rays. On average, each banana emits a positron every 75 minutes. But before you panic and throw away your banana smoothie, relax. The radiation it emits is harmless and much less than what we receive daily. The most incredible thing is that we also emit positrons. Our bodies contain potassium-40, so technically... we're all a little radioactive! ☢️ But don't worry, you won't glow in the dark. The next time you eat a banana, remember that you're enjoying a delicious fruit with a touch of quantum physics. 😉 ⚛️

Hi everyone! Did you know that the Sun is older than the Earth, but it is estimated that much of the Earth's water is older than the Sun? 😱 The Solar System was born approximately 4.6 billion years ago from a cloud of interstellar gas and dust. In this environment, at temperatures close to absolute zero, water molecules formed and became trapped in grains of cosmic dust and ice. When the protoplanetary disk began to collapse under gravity, some of this material was pulled toward the forming planets. Studies of the proportion of deuterium in water on Earth and in comets suggest that between 30% and 50% of the water on Earth comes directly from that interstellar cloud.
