Studio version vs live version

What do you prefer? Listening the live version or studio version of a song?

What songs or artists you prefer the live version over the studio version and vice versa?

Great question! Personally, I’m more of a studio-version person, I love that clean, polished sound. I’ll usually skip live versions unless I was actually at that show, then it hits differently and brings back memories.

For me, it's 50/50. With live versions I get the feeling that's how the artist "imagined" the song when they wrote it.

Just like @TannerPandora, I also like the clean sound of the studio versions.

@RockFan89 I would have to agree with @TannerPandora on this one. I like the clearer and crisper sound. There are some songs by various artists that I do like in their live versions. But overall, I would have to go with the studio version.

I definitely prefer studio versions, better sound, no screaming or other voices interrupting. However, I have to say that there are some live versions that are really good too.
