Deleted station is back everyday!

Does anyone know why this is?  I remove the station everytime I log in but yet it still plays first everytime I login in from the desktop - not my app on my phone though.  Any suggestions?

Hi @stewanan

It sounds like you may need to check the bookmark that you use to access Pandora on your desktop.

It should only be: https://www.pandora.com

If there is anything added onto to it (e.g., https://www.pandora.com/#/genres/top), then erase that. That is most likely the problem. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for posting to community! 😃

I'm wondering if anyone has had a station that keeps being added to their collection that they didn't add. (And don't want.) I'll delete it (it's always the same station) and within a week or so, it's back. I changed my password in case someone was hacking my account, but it didn't stop. Any thoughts? Any suggestions? I should add that no matter what station I had last been listening to, this unwanted one is playing when I log in. It's bit annoying.

Help is much appreciated. Danny

Delete your current app and reinstall fresh one and sign-in again.

Hey, @Danny.

It sounds like you may need to check the bookmark that you use to access Pandora, if that same station keeps reappearing.

It should only be: https://www.pandora.com

This unwanted station  is occurring on my desktop. How do uninstall on a desktop?

I am having the same problem as the other user.

Hi there, @johnas0100!

Does this issue occur when you use your web browser? Or the desktop application?

If you're using a web browser, please check out my message here about how to fix this.

I have deleted a station from my collection almost everyday for months.  Then in the morning, it's back.  I have restarted, logged out and back in and restarted the computer.  I have even purchased a new desktop computer, and first log in - station is back. Any advice would be appreciated.

My problem is Dave Grusin starts up every time I open Pandora on my computer.  I go through the process to remove him every day and low and behold there he is the next time I open Pandora.  It is a real bother.

I do not get notifications that someone else is listening, however, every time I log in there are 2 radio stations on my playlist that I delete every day. I want to almost block the radio stations. The 2 that keep popping up are Carrie Underwood Radio and Dan & Shay Radio. I don't like either!! I have tried changing my password and that hasn't helped either. How do I make it stop???!!

I have this same problem. A station I can't stand keeps getting played. There is no way to delete it from recently played on Alexa, I consistently delete it from iPhone and Desktop, but it keeps coming back. I thumb down every song playing on the station, and yet, it keeps coming back. So while this is a reply, I agree with you about this nuisance.

Hey, @mwf05. 👋

Sorry to hear that your deleted station keeps reappearing.

It sounds like we'll need to take a deeper look at your Pandora account to determine what's happening.

In the meantime, I would definitely recommend ensuring that when you use the Pandora website, you're using the URL of: https://www.pandora.com

If you delete a station on any device, this should be reflective on all of your devices.

Someone from our User Support team will contact you via email to assist with this.

Thanks so much for posting on the community! 🎧

I'm having similar problem, but a station I keep deleting from my Collection keeps REAPPEARING the very next day. I keep removing Hipster Holidays (it's January dammit, we don't need Jingle Bells right now!) and every morning it's back! Windows 10, PC

I have a "Station" that I have deleted over 10 times now. I don't want it as part of my collection. It was added years ago, it's not like it is a bad station or anything I just don't really care for the songs. Typically I wouldn't have an issue with this, I would just listen to a different station and move on with my day. However, what keeps happening is every time I log in that is the station in pulls up! I delete it, it says it is gone and I can listen to my music normally again. But when I exit out of the app or even off of my home computer, when I pull it back up that is what is playing! It's literally driving me crazy! If it was just a station that wouldn't delete and just hung out there, then I wouldn't care. But it always defaults to it even though I have deleted it.

Now before, when I would leave the app or the website when I would return it would automatically pull up what I was last listening to. It no longer does this. Instead it defaults to this station I have deleted. What is going on? Why is this happening? I am honestly at the point where I want to just deactivate my account and start a whole new one so I don't have to deal with this anymore. Please help!
