How to delete. Unwanted artists from my once apon a time hacked account... Now that I have restored my account

Trying  to delete certain artist and create a playlist of my own

Deleting a certain artist:

To clarify, did you need help removing a station you created?

If not, can you please send me a screenshot of the artist you are attempting to delete, and where you'd like them to be deleted from?

Creating a customized playlist:

The ability to create a playlist is only an option with a Pandora Premium subscription.

I'm showing your account is currently set up with the free service.

I have the same query; however, the help aspect of this app is poor. Do you want me to cease being a premium member and switch to another provider. Improve your service!

I don't have a screenshot. An artist is on my collection and I want to
delete this artist. How do I accomplish this? More end-user control is
required to make this app better. Thanks

@MJ56 What is the name of the artist you need help deleting?

Also, please take a screenshot of where you are seeing this artist in your collection - this will be helpful on our end to know where you are seeing them.

>From time to time I "may" want to listen to an artist--in this case--it is
the artist Aaliyah (she is NOT in my collection). Please take her OFF my
rotation!!

It is extremely annoying that she appears EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the
mobile app and she begins to play. I cannot cease this action which is
extremely frustrating. This action prohibits me from seeking out new
artists.
Pandora needs a lot of work. I am thinking about switching to Apple because
I WANT CONTROL! I want more end-user customization. If this cannot be
accomplished let me know and I will cancel my membership.

@MJ56 Are you referring to the Recently Played section of the app?

I'm still having trouble understanding where you are attempting to remove this artist from.

The next time that artist appears, please take a screenshot, and send it in a reply to this thread.

I was very, very clear in my prior response.

Yes, it is or can be considered to be "in the recently played section."
Pandora DOES NOT CLASSIFY IT AS SUCH.

All I know is, it is aggravating that I cannot delete and customize this
section. If you read my prior responses, "I CANNOT TAKE A SCREENSHOT!"

Is it easier to cancel my membership and move to another service?

If you cannot resolve this expeditiously let me know and I will cancel.

@alvaradorancher To clarify, did you need help removing an artist you added as variety to one of your stations?

If so, please send me:

  • the name of the artist you want to remove
  • the name of the station you want them removed as variety from
