How to delete. Unwanted artists from my once apon a time hacked account... Now that I have restored my account

Trying  to delete certain artist and create a playlist of my own

Deleting a certain artist:

To clarify, did you need help removing a station you created?

If not, can you please send me a screenshot of the artist you are attempting to delete, and where you'd like them to be deleted from?

Creating a customized playlist:

The ability to create a playlist is only an option with a Pandora Premium subscription.

I don't have a screenshot. An artist is on my collection and I want to
delete this artist. How do I accomplish this? More end-user control is
required to make this app better. Thanks

the artist Aaliyah (she is NOT in my collection). Please take her OFF my
rotation!!

It is extremely annoying that she appears EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the
mobile app and she begins to play. I cannot cease this action which is
extremely frustrating. This action prohibits me from seeking out new
artists.
Pandora needs a lot of work. I am thinking about switching to Apple because
I WANT CONTROL! I want more end-user customization. If this cannot be
accomplished let me know and I will cancel my membership.

I'm still having trouble understanding where you are attempting to remove this artist from.

The next time that artist appears, please take a screenshot, and send it in a reply to this thread.

I was very, very clear in my prior response.

Yes, it is or can be considered to be "in the recently played section."
Pandora DOES NOT CLASSIFY IT AS SUCH.

All I know is, it is aggravating that I cannot delete and customize this
section. If you read my prior responses, "I CANNOT TAKE A SCREENSHOT!"

Is it easier to cancel my membership and move to another service?

If you cannot resolve this expeditiously let me know and I will cancel.

• the name of the artist you want to remove
• the name of the station you want them removed as variety from

This is exactly what I'm trying to do. Does it require a Pandora staff member to do so? If it helps, I'm trying to remove Ledger from my Skillet station via Android app (can switch to PC if needed).

@aerro1 It looks like you may have been able to resolve this on your own.

I took a look at your Skillet station and don't see Ledger listed in the Station Created From section:

I am trying to delete an Artist/Album that I just tried to listen to. Didn't like didn't add it to my collection or any other list but there is no obvious way to get rid of it.

No  I did not add it to anything. It comes up on my list which is show in a line of albums under recently played.

Trying to get rid of the Red Album in the middle called "the Nubians"

Hi @bluetuba , thanks for posting!

From the picture you uploaded it looks like you are talking about the recently played carrousel.

The recently played carrousel, as the name mentions, displays the cover for any station or playlist, or the album art of any album or song that has been played recently. It constantly updates and if you listen to something new or different it will add the new album art or cover to the carrousel and remove the one that is at the end.

If you listen to any of the content that is already on the recently played carrousel the album art or cover will be only brought to the front without replacing or removing any of the previous content, so some album covers may remain there for a while

Please note that, even if an album is displayed on your recently played carrousel, it doesn't mean it has been added to your collected items so it doesn't really affect what you hear on your Pandora or what you have collected/saved on your account.

It looks like at any point in the past, you listened the album or one of the songs from the album "The Nubians of Plutonia" so it was added to the carrousel. 

Unfortunately, there isn't currently a way to delete your recently played history. I recommend upvoting this existing feature request with a ❤️ if you'd like to see this option added to the service: Clear Recently Played / Search History

Finally, I can see that you have been recently listening to other different/new content which are now too on the recently played carrousel and they have pushed back the other album, so if you continue to listen to new or different content the album "The Nubians of Plutonia" will be eventually removed from your carrousel.
