For three weeks now Pandora stops mid way in every song and switches to the next song. Its been three weeks now. No help from Pandora. They blame the TV manufacturing or the cable company.

For some reason, I can listen to Pandora through Direct TV on a non-Samsung TV without skipping, while the Samsung TV skips. Is it a Samsung thing?
I have Pandora on our Direct TV account. In the past a complete song would play before moving on to new song. Now Pandora moves to next song after only playing for 2 or 3 minutes. Do I have a setting error??

There is currently an investigation with DirecTV around the experienced you noted with tracks skipping to the next track before it's finished. The Pandora teams is working with DirecTV on this. While a timeline has not been established, keep an eye out for future DirecTV updates as this is how the issue will be addressed.

Still no resolution over a month later...

Hi, any progress from your March 31st update?
All other Pandora devices functioning properly, but Directv continues to skip after about 90 seconds into song.
We are have the exact problem with Pandora app via our Directv! No problem with Pandora on iphone, Car or other tvs. Looking forward to a response to this issue. THANKS!!
I have two DirecTV receivers:
A Genie HR54R1/500 has the issue of playing 1/3 to 1/2 the song then skipping to the next.
An HR24/200 works fine.
I called Directv last week to resolve the issue, they said there was no way to resolve this but they would open a ticket with their engineering team.
I read another customer's complaint with same issue. And a Pandora rep basically said the same thing.
I'm wondering, given that this issue has been unresolved for weeks on end, how long should I expect this to continue?
It's not a good look for a serious app issue to continue for so long when engineering departments from 2 major companies say they are working on it.

Our engineering teams have been in contact with DirecTV about tracks skipping. Unfortunately, we have not been offered a timeline, however keep an out out for any software updates from DirecTV as this is how this issue will be addressed.

Have problems with songs ending abruptly in middle of a song and another beginning when listening on direct tv (genie). This has been going on for over a month now. Have tried resetting app but no change. I have seen posts with others experiencing the same problem. Still no fixes available?
