Switch user account on mobile device

Is there a way to switch user accounts on my mobile device app?

Hi @Ogedeisechen! Thanks for posting. 

Here are some steps to sign out of your current Pandora account:

  • Open Pandora
  • Click Profile (bottom right)
  • Click Settings (top right)
  • Scroll down and click on Sign Out

This will log you out of your current Pandora account. By signing out any offline music will be removed from the device and you'll need to re-download this content when signing back in. 

Once you sign out, you can log back in with another Pandora account account. 

If you run into trouble, let me know.

Yes, my phone and alexa use the same account and I need to switch the phone to a new account so I do not get the 2 people message all the time.

I tried changing the username and password but it tells me the other account already exists and it in fact does and that is why I am using it.

There is a delete account but I am afraid that it is not just removing the local account.

Please advise

@cvd Check out the accepted solution to this thread for instructions on how you can sign out of the app on your mobile device, so that you can sign into a different account instead.

Welcome to the Community!

I just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly, are you trying to delete a different Pandora account that’s under another email address?

If so, you’ll first want to sign out of the account you’re currently logged into:

Profile > Settings > Scroll down to the bottom > Sign Out

Then sign back in using the email address and password for the account you’d like to delete.

Before deleting the account, please double-check that you’re logged into the correct one. And if that account has an active paid subscription, be sure to cancel it first , deleting an account doesn’t automatically cancel the subscription.

Once everything looks good, you can delete the account with the following steps here:

Profile > Settings > Account > Delete Account
