@clayton12 Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Could you explain what's happening in more detail? The more information you can provide, the better I can help.

When this issue occurs:

  • Is the app still open in the background where you're able to press play and resume music or do you need to close and relaunch the app to continue listening?
  • Are you listening to a station, album, playlist, or podcast?
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data? If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off?
  • Are you using a Bluetooth connection?

Additionally, please provide both your iOS and Pandora app versions:

  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)

Thanks for your help!

I have this problem as well. Sometimes closing Pandora and opening it fixes it for a time but sometimes it won't.

Hi @rjfuturk2

Welcome to community!

Sorry to hear that songs are skipping. Can you tell me a little more about your experience? When this happens are you listening to stations, albums or a playlist? Are you connected cellular or WiFi?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the reply @rjfuturk2

Looking at your collection I see that you have Mr. Mean by Ohio Players. Is this the album you're having trouble with?

So this happens if I am on an android, I-phone or desktop. Constant random skipping like the cd is scratched. It sometimes stops after closing app several times on the phone. I just cleared cache on android. I don't know how to on I-Phone or desktop. IDK if this has solved issue on android yet or not. But currently still skipping while listening on desktop.

@JuiceBoxOhio Welcome to Community!

It sounds like the issue may be related to the network you're using to connect to Pandora.

Please try connecting your device directly via an Ethernet cable and see if that helps.

If there is no change, try rebooting your connection:

  1. Shut down your device completely;
  2. Unplug your modem and router, wait one full minute, and then plug them back in;
  3. Wait five more minutes to allow the modem and router to fully boot back up;
  4. Turn your device back on and try Pandora again.

If Pandora still isn't working, could you check if you're able to connect to your network using another streaming service, such as YouTube?

You might also try connecting your device to an entirely different network, or using a different device on your current network, to see if your streaming improves.

Let me know how it goes!
