Hi all! Introducing the Pandora widget with version 2104.1. Listening to your favorite music just got easier, thanks to our new iOS home screen widget! You can now get to your favorite stations, playlists, and podcasts at first glance, and personalize your device the way you want! Just press and hold on your home screen until things start to wiggle , then tap the + button and search for the Pandora widget. You'll now be closer than ever to the music you love How to update*: To update the Pandora app on your iOS device on iOS 13 or newer: Open the App Store application. Tap your Apple ID icon in the top right corner. Scroll down to the Pandora app. If an update is available, there will be an Update icon. If you're running a version older than iOS 13 on your device: Open the App Store application and tap Updates in the bottom right corner of the screen. If an update is available, an Update button will appear to the right of the Pandora icon. Tip: If no update is available, it will say Open to the right of the Pandora icon. *Keep in mind, previous updates are not available for download.

@Kilkswitch Some audio systems are equipped with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay or PandoraLink. This software allows you to control Pandora via the head unit rather than your phone. If you're controlling Pandora through one of these systems the Pandora controls will default to the car's head unit when connected to your phone. There is not currently a way to turn this off. You'll want to use only a standard Bluetooth or aux connection. If you're using a standard bluetooth connection, and still having trouble, then try re-pairing the connection between your car and the phone. To remove the pairing, please go into the Bluetooth settings menu on your phone, find the appropriate connection, and select "Forget this device." Once you've done so, refer to the users manual for the steps to reconnect the car system to your phone.

Thanks for checking that out @theribguy. I'm going to reach out to an engineer and Bose for further help with this. Can you do me one last favor, I've enabled a trace on your account. While the trace is enabled, can you please re-link the Pandora skill, then try again on one of the Bose devices and give us the time and date.

@theribguy This is a tough one. 😄 Do you use the Bose skill with your speakers? If you do, can you disable and then re-enable the skill. Then, make sure it appears on the Alexa app, then try using the Alexa app to play something on your speakers (Pandora and another music service). If you're able to play another service but not Pandora, let me know.

Hi @Kilkswitch! Thanks for posting. Just wanted to confirm that you're not connecting to Android Auto or PandoraLink when connected to your Kenwood. Also, you'll want to ensure the toggle 'Launch from car; is disabled and use only a standard Bluetooth or aux connection.

@hedenfield13 Correct, the Pandora app integration in GM is powered by a Wi-Fi Hotspot built into your vehicle. Alternative options to connect Pandora to your vehicle: Bluetooth - You can connect your phone via Bluetooth only and control Pandora with your smartphone. Android Auto / CarPlay - If your vehicle is equipped with this feature, you can connect your smartphone via bluetooth or USB and control Pandora through the head unit with Android Auto or CarPlay. The alternative options require you to use a compatible iPhone or Android with an active internet connection in order to stream music in the car. Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

@lschafroth Based on your description, sounds like some stations like "Little Big Town" or "Shinedown" are playing out of place content and/or not playing the artist seed. Please, keep in mind stations are designed to introduce you to new music through the artists and songs that you already know. At this time, listeners have limited control over when or how often particular artists or songs will play on stations. Additionally, Pandora Modes is only available on our website, mobile devices and the Sonos app. If you're using PandoraLink or Android Auto in your vehicle, Modes will not be available. For the out of place content on the station, I'll take a closer look at 'Little Bit Town and Shinedown". For now, can you please thumb down any song that does not fit the station. Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

Hi @Blpattillo! Are you getting a connection error message as well when trying to use the app within in the head unit? What year is your Silverado? What is the make and model of your mobile? Can you do me a favor and take a picture of the error that you're seeing? Hi @hedenfield13! I do see a GM association with your Pandora account. If you're using the integrated Pandora app that is found within your vehicles head unit, be sure that the WiFi Hotspot is active and working properly.

Keep in mind, listening to on-demand content like songs, albums and playlists are a feature of Premium. With Plus, you can enjoy: Ad-free personalized stations Your favorite podcasts Unlimited skips Offline listening Higher quality audio

Hi @Annlobdell! Thanks for posting. I checked your account and I see that you've connected your Sonos to Pandora recently and that you're upgraded to a 60-day trial of Pandora Premium. Can you let me know which station you are hearing ads on? When you say regular radio commercial, do you mean, it's an announcement from an artist or a product being sold?
